Witch House in Beverly Hills, USA

Between the ornate white mansion and the Paledian pillars, Beverly Hills has a legal witch's house called "Spadena House." The house was built in 1921 by Oscar-nominated director Harry Oliver to serve as an office and dressing room for a film studio in Culver City. It appeared in several silent films of the 1920s and 1930s until it was moved to the corners of Cameliata and Walden in 1924. The Witch's House became a model of storybook architecture with its whimsical style. It has a functioning moat, overgrown English landscape, and a bumpy stucco roof designed to slope like a witch's hat. In 1997, the house was bought by real estate agent Michael Libow for $1.3 million. Libb bought the house because other brokers were planning to buy it to tear it down. The Witch House is now an official landmark in Beverly Hills.
