Paul Crocker, 343 Industries' associate creative director, revealed details of the campaign selection feature in an interview. Crocker said that the manufacturers did not deliberately not do the campaign mission selection function, but because they needed to quickly get the single-player campaign and multiplayer part of the game to be released before December 7, 2021, they had to temporarily give up some features, and the campaign mission selection is one that has been temporarily abandoned, which has appeared in the roadmap for future upgrades.
