In 1975, the local government restored Hou Lixiang's status according to regulations and provided him with the treatment he deserved. When the villagers heard that Hou Lixiang was really a Red Army, they were ashamed. Some ran to Hou Lixiang's house and apologized to him. They know that their peaceful and stable lives were bought by the bloody battles of the soldiers of the Red Army.
