Tan Shouxue
Speaking of "Hanlin", in the cognition of ordinary people, the feeling is "tall", however, in the depths of Bazhong City, Bazhou District, Tianma Mountain Town, Liugangping Village, Liujiawan, there is a Liu "Hanlin Courtyard", for many years, hidden in the deep mountains people do not know.

To understand this problem in depth, we must start from the origin of the "Hanlin Academy". Since Tang Xuanzong, "Hanlin Academy" has been divided into two types, one is "Hanlin Bachelor", serving in Hanlin Bachelor's Academy, and the other is Hanlin Offering. Hanlin bachelors were mainly responsible for drafting edicts and had little real power. After the late Tang Dynasty, the Hanlin Academy evolved into an important institution specializing in drafting secret edicts. Those who have served or served in the "Hanlin Academy" are called "Hanlin Officials", referred to as "Hanlin". After the Song Dynasty, it became a formal official position and was in line with the imperial examination. After the Ming Dynasty, it became a place of hope for the cultivation of talents, responsible for revising and writing history, drafting edicts, reading for members of the imperial family, and serving as an examiner for the imperial examination. Hanlin " is an important ladder to the career.
The "Hanlin Scholars" have always been a group of scholars with a high status in society, concentrating the elite of the intellectuals at that time, and their social status is superior. Being elected to the Hanlin Academy is called "Point Hanlin", which is a very honorable thing. From the imperial examination to the Hanlin, from the Hanlin to the courtiers is the ideal of life of the scholars and masters of the imperial examination era, and it is a concrete manifestation of the Confucian doctrine of "reaching the rule and helping the world".
According to research, Liu Hanlin, formerly known as Liu Ji, Zi Xizheng, and Li Qi, was born on June 24, the fifth year of Qing Xianfeng, and was born in Xiaoliugang and then separated from Liujiawan (small place name: Goose Neck) in Liugangping Village. "Guangxu Zhongyi Case Approved Hanlin Academy Confucius". On January 10, 2019, Hanlin Academy was announced as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government.

Legend has it that at that time, the Liu family was relatively wealthy, raising two brothers, Mrs. Liu looked forward to her son Jackie Chan, hoping that her son could study hard, get a meritorious name, get ahead, and be the ancestor of the Liu family. However, contrary to their wishes, the two brothers repeatedly failed the examination, and Mrs. Liu had to endure the pain of taking out silver from the government and donating a "meritorious name" to the eldest son Liu Jirong, however, this move was not respected by the locals, but was ridiculed.
Later, Liu Jirong took a fancy to a young and beautiful, clever and clever Wu woman, and asked to propose to me, and the Wu beauty proposed that if you want to become related to me, unless you take the meritorious name by virtue of your true ability, otherwise, don't be delusional. So Liu Jirong worked hard to study, and three years later went to Langzhong to catch the exam, the exam was just over, and before the list was announced, he suddenly fell ill and died. The Liu family was devastated and sent the second eldest Liu to Langzhong to take care of the aftermath. Because the government did not know that the boss Liu Jirong had died of illness, he still awarded the "meritorious name". Liu Ji returned to his hometown with his brother's relics, and the Wu girl knew the inside story and felt very guilty, so she decided to fulfill her promise and never marry for life.
The neighbors were touched by it, and they came up with ideas one after another, proposing that the Wu girl marry the second eldest Liu Ju, which not only made up for the regrets, but also achieved the marriage, the best of both worlds, and everyone was happy. However, Liu Ji believed that by doing so, he was taking advantage of the danger of others and was uneasy in his heart. So he also made a promise to marry Lady Wu after he had obtained a meritorious name.
After several years of hard work, Liu Zhong finally got his wish, obtained a "meritorious name", and married a "beautiful woman".
Their stories were turned into good stories. Liu Hanlin has since become famous, and the imperial court has "awarded the Hanlin Academy Confucius" in recognition of his ability. And built the "Hanlin Temple".
According to research, Hanlin Temple was built in the 10th year of QingdaoGuang (1830) and covers an area of more than 600 square meters. Sitting north and facing south, simple and elegant, it has a compound courtyard layout, a wooden structure with a single eaves overhanging mountain roof and a green tile roof.
The main hall is a wooden wall wall embedded with wooden window flowers, with a width of 5 rooms of 17 meters, a depth of 3 rooms of 6.2 meters, a height of 6.4 meters, a height of 4.2 meters, a first-class plain-faced treadway directly to the main hall, the length of the treadway is 2.95 meters, the width is 0.9 meters, and the height is 0.2 meters.
The left and right wings are 3 rooms with a width of 12.5 meters, a depth of 1 room of 5 meters, an eaves height of 3.6 meters, and a ridge height of 5.3 meters. The right wing has 2 patios.
The front hall is 5 rooms wide and 19 meters wide, 1 deep is 3.3 meters, the eaves height is 3.6 meters, the ridge height is 4.9 meters, and the 4-level plain-faced stepped treadway leads directly to the front of the hall. The white sand slab is paved, and the stone courtyard dam is 12 meters long and 16 meters wide. The building has a typical northeastern Sichuan residential style.
On the beams of the courtyard there is still such a poem:
The cold window is determined to penetrate the clouds,
Iron is worn without tiring.
Spring warm pond fish jumping,
Even if it is ten thousand feet high.
