Jiang Xiaozhang was already standing tall when he was 15 years old, but until he was 20 years old, he still did not find the person he liked. Later, she failed the joint examination, and Chiang Ching-kuo had to arrange for him to study in the United States, while entrusting Yu Dawei's son Yu Yang in the United States and taking care of his daughter.
Yu Yanghe, born in 1923, was Yu Dawei's illegitimate son in Germany and was later handed over to his aunt for adoption. After graduating from the Air Force Officer School and the US Luke Fighter Flight School, he rushed back to China to participate in the Sino-US Joint Flight Brigade's operation against Japan.

In May 1960, Yu Yanghe and Jiang Xiaozhang quietly married in a small church. After their marriage, they lived in San Francisco and lived in seclusion.
In 1961, after the birth of Yu Yanghe and Jiang Xiaozhang's sons, Yu Dawei personally named his grandson Yu Zusheng.
The birth of Yu Zusheng greatly eased the relationship between them, not only the care of their grandparents, but also the love of their grandfather Chiang Ching-kuo.
Although Yu Zusheng studied in a Chinese school since he was a child, he received an American education and was an authentic American who could speak Chinese.
