The Post: Arsenal youngster draws Chelsea's attention to the Premier League Bundesliga team to grab Edwards

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are facing a battle for strike star Kayan Edwards. Including city rivals Chelsea, a number of England and overseas clubs are increasingly interested in the 18-year-old.

The Gunners have yet to agree on a professional contract with Edwards, with the highly prolific striker already in the final year of his apprenticeship. Arsenal have made multiple offers for a long-term Edwards-bound contract, but so far there hasn't been a single figure that convinces the 18-year-old to sign it.

In arsenal youth this season, Kayan Edwards has made 13 appearances, scored 14 near goals and assisted at least six times. He was included in arsenal's league cup registration squad and has trained with the first team.

Once again, German clubs have developed a keen interest in young talent from the Premier League, with Hertha Berlin, RB Leipzig, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen all wanting him. England clubs have also taken note of his potential, with Chelsea, Leeds United, Southampton, Brighton and Newcastle also keeping a close eye on him.

Edwards, who is currently on the final six months of his contract, is likely to make a decision about his future early next year.
