Landscape poetry is a kind of poetic theme pioneered by the Eastern Jin Dynasty poet Xie Lingyun, who expresses the poet's love for nature and the interest in landscape by presenting the beauty of the landscape and water in the poem. Landscape poetry is a major innovation in the history of poetry after Tao Yuanming's pastoral poems, which represents a unique natural aesthetic concept and aesthetic taste.

Since Xie Lingyun created his original landscape poetry, later generations of poets have followed suit, forming the landscape poetry school. The Southern and Northern Dynasties and the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty were the most prosperous periods of landscape poetry. Among them, the Tang Dynasty landscape poetry is the most prosperous. In the pioneering period of the Southern and Northern Dynasties landscape poems, although not mature, but the victory in nature and freshness, good sentences stacked, many good sentences are even far better than the Sheng Tang poetry.

For example, the Southern Liang poet Wang Yuan's "Into Ruoye Xi", one of the famous sentences was praised as "unique outside the text", which attracted Tang and Song poets to follow suit, but none of them could surpass it. And come and enjoy this poem of the king's "Into the Creek of Ruoye":

Into Joye Creek

Southern Liang Wang

The sternwheeling is extensive, and the empty water is leisurely.

Yin Xia was born far away, and the yang scenery flowed back one by one.

The cicadas are noisy, and the birdsong mountains are more quiet.

This place is moving back to the memory, and the long-term sadness is traveling.

Ruoye Creek was originally a river in Jiangnan that no one paid attention to, and even if the Jin Dynasty moved east and the Southern Dynasty after the Yiguan South Crossing, no one mentioned Ruoye Creek. It was not until the Southern Liang poet Wang Zhi traveled here and wrote this poem "Into the Ruoye Creek" that this stream was well known to everyone and became a famous water in the world.

This poem describes the scene seen by the poet Wang Yuan's boating in Ruoye Creek, and implies the sorrow of wanting to return to the mountains and forests but staying in his career. The first two sentences of the poem, "How pan pan, empty water and leisurely" cut to a "into" word dot, depicting the scene of the stream seen by the poet on the Ruoye Creek: the water is wide and clear, the sky is high, the white clouds are leisurely, and the water reflects the sky is also a leisurely! The sky and water are colorful, which makes the poet rejoice.

Three or four sentences, "Yin Xia is born far away, and the yang scenery flows back one by one" begins to describe the beauty of Ruoye Creek in detail. Write mountains in the distance, write water in the near distance, lining the mountains with clouds, illuminating the clear water with the shadow of the sun, with a sense of layering and color, the mountains and rivers reflect each other, and the realm is beautiful. In particular, the words "sheng" and one "chasing" turn static into motion, giving the scenery anthropomorphism and interest.

Four or five sentences turn to the natural beauty of Ruoye Creek from the sense of hearing: "The cicada noise forest is more quiet, and the birdsong mountain is more quiet"! To write about the tranquility of the mountains and forests is not to write quietly, but to write quietly with motion. With the chirping of knowledge, the chirping of mountain birds is more secluded in the forest. The poet not only wrote the long-range view of "Far Away" and the close-up view of "Returning", but also wrote from hearing to three-dimensional movement, and the quiet environment was harmoniously unified with the landscape above the stream, and the realm was higher.

In the last two sentences, the poet faces such a beautiful scenery of Ruoye Creek and cannot help but sigh lyrically: "This place moves back to the memory, and the long-term sad and tired tour." The beautiful and quiet environment of Ruoye Creek aroused the poet's feelings of returning to his hometown and living in seclusion, so that he recalled the years of eunuch travels, and he could not return to seclusion, and suddenly sorrow came from it.

Isn't it a great deal of scenery that makes the poet miserable, but makes the poet miserable? In fact, it is not the case, the pleasant scenery causes the poet to be sad, and it is precisely from the reverse side that the beauty of the Ruoye Creek gives the poet love and joy. Such lyricism makes people yearn for the beautiful and quiet scenery of Ruoye Creek.

Since Xie Lingyun created landscape poetry, many people have imitated landscape poetry, but it is difficult to reach the realm of harmony between people and landscapes. Until the wang's "Into the Ruoye Stream" turned out to be out, the deep landscape and water spirit rhyme even far exceeded Xie Lingyun. In particular, two of the sentences, "The cicadas are noisy and the forest is quiet, and the birdsong and mountains are more quiet" are even more classic, and people at the time called it "unique outside the text".

Wang's poem "Into Ruoye Creek" had a great influence on the landscape poetry of the Tang Dynasty, and famous artists such as Meng Haoran and Wang Wei had learned from this poem. For example, Wang Wei's "Birdsong Stream" "Moonrise Frightens Mountain Birds, When Singing Spring Streams" was born out of the royal family, and Wang Anshi's "A Bird Does Not Sing the Mountain is More Quiet" is directly hidden to allude to the attack of the court villains.

What is even more exaggerated is that the original nameless Ruoye Creek became famous because of this poem by the king, and the literati and inkers poured into the Ruoye Creek to enjoy the scenery and sing poems. From the Tang Dynasty to the Two Song Dynasties, poems describing Ruoye Creek were even more endless. Cui Hao's "Into Ruoye Creek", Meng Haoran's "Yexi Rafting", Qi Wuqian's "Spring Pan Ruoye Creek", Wang Anshi's "Ruoye Creek Guixing", Lu You's "Ruoye Creek" and so on. There are also Li Bai, Liu Changqing, Su Dongpo and other celebrities who have gone to Ruoye Creek to write poems.

With only two poems passed down to the throne, it should not have been imagined that the originally uninhabited Ruoye Creek would eventually become a world-famous attraction after his poetry propaganda and so many literati and inkers.
