Cen Yifeng, the person in charge of the event, told the Beijing News that due to the recent slowdown in the epidemic situation in Beijing, the event resumed. The scene will strictly abide by the epidemic prevention regulations, install security inspection, registration, temperature measurement, and scanning code equipment at the entrance and exit of the venue, and also set up a temporary isolation area and medical service station, and the competition requires each participant to hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours when entering the venue.

In addition, in order to avoid excessive gathering of people, the competition also set up two waiting areas. "The space is spacious enough, one is 2,000 square meters, one is 800 square meters, and there are 2,000 square meters on the competition site." Cen Yifeng said. Due to the impact of the epidemic, some teams have abandoned the competition, and 26 teams will be present tomorrow to compete for 12 final places. The competition does not invite spectators and will start at 10:00 and end at 16:30.

The preliminary judging guests included Wu Xiaojiang, the national first-class director of the National Drama Theatre, Chen Juanhong, a famous model and actor, Wang Jiucheng, a famous cartoonist and director of the China Institute of Comedy Aesthetics, Wang Xinyu, a national first-class actor of the Beijing People's Art Theatre, and Wang Jingang, artistic director of Nuke (Beijing) Media culture Co., Ltd., and several judges will score on the spot.

"We set up five judges every year, according to the nature of the competition, the contestants not only have to show their personal model style, but also show the team's clothing, choreography creativity, etc., so the judges are not only professional catwalks, but involve all aspects." Cen Yifeng said.

Li Wei from the Beijing Qilin Model Team told the Beijing News that the Qilin Model Team is characterized by the younger members of the team, and several of them are only in their 40s. Unlike the elderly who prefer bright colors such as red, they have prepared black and white clothing for the preliminary round, hoping to show their fashion style through the catwalk.

The epidemic has brought various obstacles to their pre-match preparations, some team members can not return to Beijing in the field, they can only temporarily replace candidates, "originally planned 19 people, now there are 16 people, but the new team members may not be as familiar as the old team members (to the Taiwan step)." ”

The usual rehearsal venues have also been closed, and they borrow venues everywhere to rehearse. From October to now, the team members have rehearsed five or six times, "less than in previous years, and at present we are still exchanging some things in the group." Although the epidemic has had a certain impact on the preparation, Li Wei said, "We have won the third prize before, and this time we will try our best to show our best state and break into the final." ”

It is reported that the final will be held on December 17. The 12 finalists will compete at Chaoyang Planning Art Museum for the first, second and third prizes and individual awards.
