In the short life of human beings, there are many people who only live to survive. Some people may say that just living is not easy, what else do you want? Man, from the moment you leave the ranks of animals, you must be like a human being! We must not give up human dignity just to satisfy our appetites.
The Tang Dynasty poet Yang Juyuan may have understood some of these truths, so he wrote a small poem specifically to persuade his friends to not give up their hobbies no matter what kind of survival difficulties they face, and to live with dignity.

There are endless things in the world, and there is no waste of poetry in life.
He zeng good wind and moon, not the time of remembering the king.
Xue Shiyu in the poem title is a good friend of the poet, and it is impossible to verify who it is. The poet has several other poems, all of which were given to him, which shows that the friendship between the two should be relatively deep. History rolls over, up and down thousands of years, how many people, with the waves, disappeared. Fame and fortune, hero red face, dust, wind and clouds scattered.
At the beginning, the poet makes some exclamations. "There are so many things in the world, complex, subtle, or grand, waiting for us to do senseless actions and eliminate them one by one. This idea is more heartfelt. After experiencing the tempering of the world, the eunuch sea is floating and sinking, and the once innocent disposition has gradually disappeared.
Trivial things come and go, as if there were no hope for the day, and all ambitions sank into these trifles. Therefore, the poet persuaded his friend: "Career is not wasted poetry." No matter how big the difficulties, don't lose the hobby of writing poetry. Hobbies are the most precious companions that can accompany you throughout this life.
In this life, people say that the long is not long, and the short is not short, just like the hard object stuck in the throat, can not swallow, it is very uncomfortable. Therefore, in this life, no matter how much suffering a person suffers from life, he must also understand a truth. The truth is very simple, that is: the heart has sustenance! A lot of people don't understand. Wait until you have wandered all your life, old age strikes, and you can suddenly look back, and you can find out how desolate your spirit is.
Finally, in order to strengthen the exhortation, the poet took the initiative to appear and speak. "He zeng good wind and moon", the poet said, I have never been deeply involved in those wind and snow moon things, let alone linger for this. What was the meaning, what taste or not. Here, wind and moon, just a substitute word, specifically refer to the earthly things, those seductive things, or leisurely, or affair.
As for the last sentence, "It is not the time of remembrance", it is a deliberate emphasis, which turns back to the friend. The previous poet said that because he liked to write poetry, he would not let him delay those who were in the midst of prosperity and were blinded by random flowers. Then, he said that he would think of you whenever he finished writing a poem, because we had a common hobby and wanted to send your work to you for appreciation and evaluation.
Being born as a human being is full of difficulties. This dilemma does not only come from the material, but also from the mind. Moreover, it is not only people in modern society who have this inexplicable anxiety. The same was true of the ancients, who may have been more profound in an era of greater material scarcity.
In this small poem, the poet can soberly recognize this problem, and use the hobby of "writing poetry" and "reading poetry" to combat the anxiety in his heart, which is very worthy of modern people's caution. We should slowly develop a hobby for ourselves to help ourselves through many difficulties in life. If the heart is there, the dream is there, and the hobby should be there.
