On December 6, local time, the Athens municipal government announced that in the past two months, 11 free Wi-Fi access points have been opened in public places in the center of Athens.
To date, more than 100,000 people have used these sites to access the internet, registering about 300,000 unique login accounts.
Athens City Hall noted that they aim to install free Wi-Fi points in all 129 neighborhoods in Athens, adding that Athenian citizens will also have access to another 118 digital services, including the issuance of digital certificates and other important documents.

- Kotzia Square
- Serafeio sports center of Athens municipality
