Having seen Agatha Christie's "No One Survives", "Murder on the Orient Express", "Massacre on the Nile" and other shocking plot arrangements and case reasoning, the beginning of the story is full of doubts, strange things, addictive, from the character's clothing, habits, experiences, actions, conversations and other plot descriptions make the reasoning advance layer by layer, the ending is always unexpected, but in line with the various preparations and details of the early stage. With this admiration for Grandma and Poirot (Grandma's great detective) and high expectations, I began to watch her famous work "Roger's Doubt".

He thought that the main line of the case had begun, but suddenly the pen turned, and the owner of another manor, Roger Aycroyid, was inserted into the back of his neck by a short sword, and the real murder had just begun.
Following the perspective of "I", helping people to see a doctor, chatting with people, and following Poirot to explore the case, one by one vivid characters are displayed. The manor ----- beautiful and loyal niece Flora, the money-seeking Mrs. Aycroyd, the humorous and funny secretary Raymond, the honest friend Colonel Brandt, the cunning butler Parker, the unsmiling housekeeper Miss Russell, the mysterious adopted son Captain Ralph Payton; the gossipy but kind "I" sister Caroline in----- the town, the arrogant and stupid police officer Raglan, and the "small schemer" detective Poirot.
Through "I" talking with these characters and Poirot's investigation, it was found that on the night of the crime, in addition to the murder case, there were many things that happened at the same time, including theft incidents, extortion incidents, unilateral infatuation, lovers quarrels, mother-child ethics and other dramas, each playing their own role and interpreting the hardships of life.
Grandma's books can always lead us one by one to exclude suspects, and when we think we have understood it and are confident that we can see through the truth, an unexpected reversal, failure, of course Poirot is right. It's always unexpected, but it's reasonable to think back to the details of the early stages.
"Roger's Doubt" is the most unexpected in Grandma's book that I have read so far, and I found that I have been following the smoke released by Grandma, and I was blinded by the illusion, and I really never thought of it.
The mystery is not announced, the meaning of speculative fiction is that you follow the people in the book to explore together, know the ending, and the book will be greatly reduced.

The understanding of the last murderer in "Murder on the Orient Express", the education and expectation of the thief in "Massacre on the Nile" are reformed, including the tolerance of the murderer in "Roger's Doubt" makes him self-judgment rather than public. These endings are far from the legal punishment that we often have to punish for breaking the law, revealing a different soft side of human nature.
Breaking the law should have been punished by the law, but there are many helpless people in life, there are always people who are not big traitors and evildoers, just a thought difference, casting mistakes, life is ruined, in real life, for justice and social tranquility is a must to do things according to law. And a trace of selfishness in human nature left in the novel is not unavoidable, at least in the novel, leaving a trace of warmth and hope for the person who accidentally lost his way.
