On November 25, some citizens reported to the 24-hour news hotline of Huashang Daily 029-88880000 that several shops opposite the entrance of Xinghuo Road Primary School in Xi'an often dumped swill water into the mouth of the rainwater well, causing the school entrance to stink.

Subsequently, Huashang Daily sent a letter to the Lianhu District Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau of Xi'an City for consultation. Receiving a reply, regarding the problem of "the shop opposite the entrance of Xinghuo Road Primary School poured swill water into the rainwater well, resulting in a foul smell", the Lianhu District Urban Management Bureau immediately urged the Hongmiaopo Street Office to arrange law enforcement personnel to go to the scene for investigation and punishment, and now replies to the rectification situation as follows: First, the law enforcement personnel interviewed the responsible persons of various catering stores in Mingzhu Lane on the spot, telling them not to dump garbage, swill and other debris at will, keep the surrounding environment clean and tidy, and at the same time require all merchants to sign a kitchen waste removal agreement with the regular cleaning and transportation company. Law enforcement officers issued a rectification order to each merchant on the spot, requiring rectification to be in place. The second is to organize the cleaning staff to use the combination of man and machine operation mode to deeply clean the roads and grates around Xinghuo Road Primary School.

In the next step, it is required that the Hongmiaopo Street Office will strengthen the frequency of inspections in this section, do a good job in the fine management of the city with high standards and high requirements, and strive to provide a livable living environment for residents, while doing a good job of "looking back" to prevent repeated problems.
