Zhang Jing, a native of Qingdao, Shandong, is a contemporary young calligraphy and painting artist, a member of the China Women Painters Association, a member of the Shandong Artists Association, a director of the Qingdao Artists Association, and a visiting lecturer at the School of Art of Beijing Union University. He graduated from Yantai Normal University with a bachelor's degree in 2005 and graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2014 with a master's degree from Professor Tang Yongli. He used to be a high school art teacher and is now the director of Zhang Jing Art Museum.
In October 2011, his work "Faith" won the gold medal of the Qingdao Municipal Artists Association and the Qingdao Literary Association of Shandong Province, and his works were published and officially collected; in September 2016, his series of works on flowers, birds, characters and calligraphy were published on the cover and inner page of the 578th issue of the overseas edition of the national large-scale publication "Sons and Daughters of China", which is supervised by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and sponsored by the All-China Youth Federation, and was also reported by the People's Network, Xinhua Net, China Calligraphy and Painting Daily, Fine Arts Newspaper and other media; in March 2017, his work "Born like a Summer Flower" was also reported by the People's Network, Xinhua Net, China Calligraphy and Painting Daily, Fine Arts Newspaper and other media.
