The legend of Nezha Noisy Sea and Jiuwan Old Dragon Pond

About Nezha, there are legends as early as the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, until 2500 years later, which aroused the great interest of the Ming Dynasty literati, who took materials from here, connected some fragmented plots, and enriched and surreal imagination, created a vivid and lovely image of Nezha, and completed the wonderful interpretation of the story of Nezha. Among them, "Journey to the West", "Journey to the South", and "Fengshen Yanyi" are the most prominent. In the "Journey to the West" depicting the battle between Nezha and Sun Wukong, it can be seen that the weapons in his hands are basically complete, and he also makes a more reasonable explanation of "returning the father and mother after analyzing the flesh and bones", and also tells the reason for Li Jing tota. As for the "Fengshen Yanyi" and then borrowing the description of the "red child" in the "Journey to the West", it is even more flattering to write Nezha as a child holding a musket, so that the image of Nezha is finally formed.

In Jiuwan at the southern end of the Huanghuai region, that is, jiuwanju in Liuji Town, Guzhen County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province, there are many legends of Nezha, among which the Qingbai Dragon in the Old Dragon Pond of Nezha Is one of the wonderful stories.

The legend of Nezha Noisy Sea and Jiuwan Old Dragon Pond

Jiuwan is an ancient town with a long history and a collection of humanities. According to relevant historical records and the memories of the old man of Jiuwan: in the past Jiuwan, the two rivers were sandwiched, and there were waterways in the middle, including the ancient city wall, Nezha Temple, Wenchang Temple, City God Temple, traditional old street, characteristic tea house, Vulcan Pavilion, the central area has a stone slab street, up to more than 2,000 meters, the old street is quaint, bluestone street surface, several laneways, shop workshops, courtyard residences are scattered, natural and simple, secluded and elegant. Roads, bridges, colleges, and archway ancestral halls are in an orderly manner. More than 1400 years ago, the Sui and Tang Dynasties Grand Canal was opened, and there was a river on the edge of Jiuwan Old Street as a connecting river connecting the canal and the Huai River. Later, Jiuwan gradually prospered, and once became an important economic and cultural town in the Huanghuai region.

The legend of Nezha Noisy Sea and Jiuwan Old Dragon Pond

On the west side of Jiuwan Old Street, there is a treasure land of feng shui, several acres of water surface, blue waves, cool breeze in summer, no ice in winter, fish and shrimp full of lakes, willows hanging on the shore. There is an ancient spring here, known locally as "Old Dragon Pond", the rain for several days, no water rise, a hundred days of drought do not see the water fall, deep do not see the bottom. Some good deeds tied a small scale with four or two red silk threads, and did not reach the bottom of the spring, which is said to be the cave house of the green and white dragon.

This green and white dragon was actually two snakes, who had been practicing here for tens of thousands of years, and later attached to the East Sea, was sealed as the Night Fork, and became the thug of the Dragon King Ao Guang.

I don't know what year and month, there is a family with a surname in the old street by the water, sunrise and sunset, ploughing the field and fishing, and living a rich life. The husband and wife respected and loved each other, but there was still no man and half a woman in the year of confusion, and the husband and wife often went to the Nezha Temple in the old street to worship the gods. One day, the wife dreamed of a little girl sitting in the lotus flower in the courtyard, and in October she gave birth to a thousand pounds, named Zhang Lian. The little girl was born handsome, clever and clever, and likable. One day it was late, and an uninvited guest came to the house, it turned out to be the god Nezha in the Nezha Temple. Zhang Lian and Nezha are very close, and the two see each other and play together. After Nezha left, he left a poem saying: "The old dragon pond on the side of Jiuwan Street, the green and white two snakes built a family courtyard, and when they stayed until February 2, the East Sea Dragon King captured Zhang Lian." When Zhang Laohan saw the words, he was puzzled and panicked. Slowly, Zhang Lian was transformed from an ignorant child into a Tingting maiden. This year, on the second day of February, people found a strange cloud in the air, sometimes red and sometimes black, sometimes into a large ball, sometimes turned into two dragons, sometimes fierce winds, holding on to it, very embarrassing.

At this time, Nezha rushed to come, and Zhang Laohan hurriedly asked, "What is the space strange cloud?" Without thinking, Nezha blurted out: "Ao Bing, the third prince of the Dragon King, sent a fork of the night fork out to the sea to do evil, and he wanted to arrest Zhang Lian." Zhang Laohan was suddenly frightened into a cold sweat when he heard it. Then ask, "What should I do?" Nezha smiled and said, "With me here, you can rest assured!" ”

Soon, the two strange clouds took on the shape of a dragon, swallowing clouds and spitting mist, Xiao Zhang Lian suddenly fainted, and Zhang Laohan's family was panicked. Only to see the dark clouds rolling in the air, the fierce wind, the thunder and lightning, the downpour of rain, and the roar of longtan. In the middle of the night, I saw that the air was sometimes red, sometimes fire, and there was the sound of weapons colliding. Soon, the wind was calm and calm, and Zhang Lian woke up. Later, everyone learned that this was Nezha who ambushed the Qingbai Night Fork sent by the Third Prince of the East Sea Dragon King and saved Zhang Lian.

"The water of the Jiuwan River is flowing, and the green willows and red apricots are with warblers." Today, Nine Bays, lifting the veil of the ancient town, green bricks and black tiles have stirred away the worldly chaos, quietly telling the unknown past. Strolling through this ancient time, it seems to see the young Zhang Lian washing and frolicking by the river, the young child listening to the story of Nezha told by the master in the academy, and the folk artists with vicissitudes on their faces pinching the noodles at the mouth of the old streets and alleys... It seems that in an instant, it spread out into a long scroll of light and elegant ink.
