Solid work, the dream begins with learning technology

"I joined the party in May 2011 at school, and after graduation, I went south with several classmates and was assigned to the Changsha power supply section." Mei Hongxiang told reporters. His first job was in the Chenzhou West High-Speed Rail Catenary Work Zone. The gap between the north and the south and the workplace makes him not very adaptable.

He said: "There are a lot of people who don't adapt. When I first arrived, I caught up with the insulation sweeper, but I didn't expect that the catenary workers in reality would climb so high every day. There is also the climate and eating habits, eating pasta at home, not eating peppers. The wet and cold winter here is particularly unbearable. ”

In less than two years, Mei Hongxiang has become the top business backbone of the work area, and has been rated as an outstanding member of the Communist Youth League for two consecutive years. "Our industrial area has jurisdiction over the Shanghai-Kunming high-speed railway Liling East Station to Shaoshan South Station K1006+600 to K1080+000, K1088+800 to K1150+800, including Liling East Railway Station, Xiangtan North Railway Station, Shaoshan South Station, a total of 355.7 kilometers of catenary equipment operation and maintenance tasks, including 22 tunnels, 7039 sets of support and positioning devices, 5011 pillars, 569 compensation devices..." Mei Hongxiang told reporters about the work of the work area.

In the 2017 workshop open selection of the foreman, Mei Hongxiang stood out and was selected as the foreman of the catenary work area. Strengthen party spirit, lead by example

With his continuous efforts, the number of technicians in the work area has increased from the initial 1 to 6 now, and the number of senior workers has increased from the original 31 to 35.

In order to ensure the quality of power supply equipment maintenance and improve efficiency, Mei Hongxiang put forward the rectification plan of "pre-repair investigation, prefabrication of material warehouse, and on-site installation". During the comprehensive flat-push inspection last year, he organized the technical backbone of the work area to replace more than 200 hanging strings.

Recently, a night skylight operation has just ended, it is 4 a.m., Mei Hongxiang's operation group is preparing to return to the workshop to rest, suddenly received a notice: 30 kilometers away from the section of the catenary due to thunderstorm weather trip, the need to immediately inspect the catenary equipment.

The trip information in his mind was the charge, and without saying a word, he immediately went to the old landmark instruction section and braved the pouring rain to carry out patrol operations outside the fence. After investigation, he finally found the fault point at 8 o'clock in the morning, and he returned to the dormitory for 12 hours of continuous struggle...
