More than 1200 years ago, the Tang Dynasty poet Liu Yuxiyuan resigned from Chang'an City and served as the Assassin of Lianzhou. During his more than four years in office, Liu Yuxixing re-taught, sympathized with the people's feelings, integrated his enthusiasm for Lianzhou into poetry, said full of open-mindedness, and planted cultural roots for Lianzhou, passed down for thousands of years, and influenced generations of Lianzhou people.
Recently, the exhibition of Liu Yuxi's poetry-themed calligraphy works was exhibited in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Lianzhou Cultural Center, further excavating the profound cultural heritage of Lianzhou. A total of 45 calligraphy works on the theme of Liu Yuxi's poems were exhibited in this exhibition, sponsored by the Lianzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, undertaken by the Lianzhou Calligraphers Association, and co-organized by the Lianzhou Municipal Cultural Center.

The calligraphers used affectionate pen and ink to express their infinite love for their hometown of Lianzhou. The works exhibited have outstanding themes, novel ideas, diverse forms, and the calligraphy body includes seals, affiliations, letters, rows, grasses, etc., and there is no shortage of masterpieces with distinctive artistic characteristics, which is a comprehensive display of the level of calligraphy creation in Lianzhou.
