Cities, like people, have memories. As the top international events pour in, Shanghai is becoming the international capital of the world's attention, and these events also constitute a unique memory of the city.
Looking back on this journey, I have to mention the first Heineken Open. That was a starting point, a beginning. In 1998, Shanghai Xinxin Sports Culture Development Co., Ltd. was established and held the first Shanghai Heineken Tennis Open. The time came to 2015, the year, Shanghai Jiushi (Group) Co., Ltd. was officially established. The "14th Five-Year Plan" and the outline of long-term goals for 2035 clearly state that China will build a "sports power" by 2035, and sports has become a landmark cause of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

In 2019, the F1 1000th race landed in Shanghai, and made its debut on China's urban streets in Xintiandi Taiping Lake Park, when the leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the Head of F1, Chase Carey, jointly "cheered" on F1, a historic moment that also proved the self-evident importance of Shanghai to F1 and F1 to Shanghai.
