Ma Wei: Ideas start from imagination to determine the tone of the whole work. For example, you can imagine wandering in the scene, perceiving various elements that suddenly appear, sounds, colors, touches, and materials. Finally, these elements are visualized as themes by means of music.
Editor: Can you introduce the style of these four theme songs?
Ma Wei: In the process, I did not overly obsessed with the style, but I made some fusion of the appropriate elements with understanding, and worked together to present the scene atmosphere. "Empty" is to reflect the vastness and grandeur, and the form of backward shaking is more appropriate, combined with some atmospheric sound effects commonly used in film soundtracks. "Wild" is a focus on the long and thick grassland. "Sen" uses the flute to express the tranquility of the deep forest, and the oboe is the gentle form of the small wind traveling through the forest, all in order to better present and create an immersive sense of these scenes.
Editor: Now that environmentalism has been mentioned a lot, how do you view the relationship between nature and people?
Ma Wei: Man is a part of nature, but since learning to use tools, man has been overly transforming nature, and the direct direction of this behavior is the demise of nature, and as a part of nature, it is gradually difficult for man to survive.
Editor: Which city or country is more in line with your dreams?
Ma Wei: In the life I yearn for, both are indispensable, just do as you please, and either of these two will make life boring.

Ma Wei: It's hard to say, there are both situations, it depends on what state the person who wrote the song was in at that time, and a large backlog of emotions may be easier to achieve overnight, but if you want to pursue completeness and accuracy, you may still need to study slowly.
