As an incumbent official at the vice-provincial and ministerial level, Gong Jianhua is the fourth "tiger" in Jiangxi Province to fall since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. According to the surging news, in jiangxi's local political circles, since last week, the news of Gong Jianhua's surrender has spread. Now, the news has finally been "officially announced".

The three Jiangxi "tigers" who fell before Gong Jianhua were Li Yihuang, former vice governor of Jiangxi, Shi Wenqing, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress, and Xiao Yi, former vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. It is worth noting that among the officials who once ruled Fuzhou in Jiangxi, Gong Jianhua and Xiao Yi, who had just been "double-opened", were "former and post-office" relations.
Checking the resume, it can be seen that in 2011, Gong Jianhua was appointed secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee, and since then he has been the "number one" in Fuzhou for more than 3 years. In 2014, Gong Jianhua became a member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee, followed by secretary general of the provincial party committee, and in 2015 became the secretary of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee. In 2015, Gong Jianhua succeeded him in charge of Fuzhou, xiao Yi, who was previously deputy secretary-general of the Jiangxi provincial government, director of the provincial government's office in Beijing, and secretary of the party group. For the next six years, Xiao Yi served as secretary of the Fuzhou Municipal Party Committee for a long time, and remained the vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in 2018, and did not take the same position until March this year. Not long after leaving office, Xiao Yi was investigated in May this year and "double-opened" on November 13.
After investigation, Xiao Yi betrayed his original mission, undermined the political principle of "two safeguards," made serious deviations in the implementation of the major policy decisions and arrangements of the party Central Committee, violated the new development concept, abused his power to introduce and support enterprises to engage in virtual currency "mining" activities that did not meet the requirements of the national industrial policy, illegally borrowed money to projects and engaged in construction, causing a bad impact; ignoring the spirit of the eight provisions of the central authorities, accepting gifts and gifts in violation of the law, and accepting banquets that might affect the fair execution of official duties; not reporting personal related matters in accordance with regulations; conniving, Acquiescence allows certain related persons to use the influence of their positions to seek private interests, engage in profit-making activities in violation of the law, and engage in trading in power and money; incorrectly perform their duties, arbitrarily make decisions to implement major projects, interfere in and meddle in judicial activities; do not attach importance to the building of family style, are unscrupulous and shameful, and have bad morals; collude with illegal private business owners, abuse their power for personal gain, use their positions to facilitate the convenience of their positions to seek benefits for others in such areas as job promotion, project contracting, and project development, and illegally accept huge amounts of money and property.

According to reports, Xiao Yi's above-mentioned abuse of power occurred during his tenure as the head of Fuzhou. Now, Gong Jianhua has been investigated, which means that two consecutive fuzhou municipal party secretaries have serious violations of discipline and law, and both have been promoted to vice provincial and ministerial levels during their tenure as secretaries of the Fuzhou municipal party committee. As far as the Fuzhou officialdom is concerned, how to eliminate the residual poison of Gong Jianhua and Xiao Yi in the future will be an important issue in the building of a clean and honest government.
Ironically, in 2015, Gong Jianhua publicly stated at a meeting of leading cadres who became the secretary of the Nanchang Municipal Party Committee: "Those who come to send money must be people who collect money, those who are non-existent must be non-people, and those who come to climb the relationship must be speculators." Gong Jianhua also said at the meeting that anyone, including his family, who uses his banner to do private affairs, or help his family to favor personal feelings, must be strictly prohibited, and whoever violates the precepts will be investigated according to discipline.
