Hefei, November 26 (China News Service) -- The 2021 Dajiang Forum and the Anhui-Taiwan Youth Sanchuang Forum opened in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, on the 26th, with young people from both sides of the strait conducting in-depth exchanges and discussions on five major sub-topics such as deep processing of agricultural products, high-end health care, and cultural and creative souvenirs.

Pan Xinyang, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and secretary general of the Central Committee of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League, said in his speech that since last year, despite the difficulties brought about by the epidemic and the artificial interference on the island, many Taiwan compatriots have actively participated in various online and offline exchange activities between the two sides of the strait, continued to invest in the mainland, increase capital and expand production, and actively participated in the mainland's high-quality development and economic and social innovations. "Anhui has beautiful mountains and clear waters, strong economic development vitality, and various policies and measures for benefiting the people of Huitai have come to fruition, and I hope that young people in Anhui and Taiwan can seize the opportunity and actively participate in exchanges and cooperation between Anhui and Taiwan to achieve greater development."

Sun Lifang, vice chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, said that in recent years, the economic and trade cooperation between Anhui and Taiwan has achieved outstanding results, and with the docking activities of Taiwan-funded projects at the World Manufacturing Conference as a platform, Anhui has attracted and utilized Taiwan-funded funds to rank among the forefront of the country. "Nowadays, more and more young people from Taiwan are coming to Anhui to study, work and do business, and they are sharing the good opportunities for Anhui to accelerate development."
