Chen Yi did not combine with Zhang Qian until he was 40 years old and had a family. After studying in France at the age of 18, he began a career of wandering the world and traveling south and north. In addition to the sinister circumstances that forced him to make sacrifices when joining the revolution, his caution in choosing a lifelong partner was also an important reason for his "late marriage". Later facts proved that his "Xiongnu are not destroyed, why should the family be" anger and solemn and serious attitude of marriage and love, so that he has gained lifelong love and happiness.
Zhang Qian was born in Wuhan in June 1932. The parents were very fond of this petite only daughter, so they named it palm beads, small characters spring blue. After the "July Seven" incident, Zhang Qian, who had just turned 15, walked the streets with the troupe and actively spread the truth of the anti-Japanese struggle to save the country. In the spring of 1938, she responded to the call of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao, who were in Wuhan, and joined the New Fourth Army. He is a member of the Drama Team and the Singing Group of the Military Field Service Corps. Zhang Xili was natural, dignified and slender, coupled with a sweet voice and superb acting skills, in just over a year, she was greatly famous in the whole army.
At that time, Chen Yi was the commander of the first detachment of the New Fourth Army, and often went to the military headquarters to watch Zhang Qian's performances. One is a handsome, poetic general with a literary and martial temperament, and the other is a young and beautiful and talented progressive woman, and the two soon fall in love. Chen Yi's love was long overdue, but this late love made the famous general of the shock side intoxicated. In March 1939, he wrote this happy and sweet poem:
Spring light shines like a fool,
Shame on me Jiangnan Tongrui Division.
Where is the pride?
Losing and Hongfang don't know it.
In the spring of 1940, they married in Shuixi Village, Liyang County, Jiangsu Province, where the Jiangnan Headquarters of the New Fourth Army was stationed. Chen Yi wrote a poem entitled "Good Period". Poetry;
"Candle shadow shake red joy can be known, makeup for the city of little Joe's poems." Concentricity can pay for doubtful dreams, when the eyes are silent. A smile is difficult to become a thing of the past, and the communist alliance strives to remember the good period. After a hundred years of kissing, the moon came to peek at the night. ”
Zhang Qian later wrote: "I remember the scene of my first love in southern Anhui: the first story of Dapeng Village in Tianli, a long conversation that lasted 8 hours in the small room, and the moonlit night you sent me back to the ministry. There was also the cold night when you wrapped me in a coat and sent me back to the station in Jiangnan Shuixi Village. Many days after marriage, how sweet it is! ”
Decades later, their son Chen Haosu wrote: "My father has 20 years of revolutionary experience, he has experienced the test of 10 years of civil war intertwined with blood and fire, and finally found a new year's acquaintance on the warm spring night in southern Anhui, and promised each other to form a life-and-death friendship." "The father's love is deep and shows a mature style, while the mother's love is more passionate, because she was still so young!" In any case, these happy loves will accompany them through the road of life for more than 30 years. ”
Of course, the combination of Zhang Qian, who was just 18 years old, and Chen Yi, who was nearly 40 years old, also caused some people to discuss, thinking that the age distance between them was too large and difficult to understand each other, Zhang Qian laughed after listening to it, she said: "The age gap is not the main one, I feel that the academic and political level is far inferior to him." I want to be commensurate with him, to be a partner and an assistant, and only by studying hard can I close the gap. ...... I must be willing to be a primary school student in all aspects, worship him as a teacher, learn from scratch, and strive to be basically commensurate. "Zhang Qian is intelligent and wise, she constantly changes and improves herself, makes herself more and more attractive, and wins the lifelong love of the poet marshal."
Only 3 months after the marriage, in the summer of 1940, Chen Yi led the main force to leave the Maoshan base area in southern Jiangsu and cross the river to the north, opening up the situation of the War of Resistance in northern Jiangsu. Zhang Qian went to Suzhong to do local work. Then they met again, and at the most urgent juncture of the Battle of Huangqiao, Zhang Qian followed him around, sorting out books and manuscripts, and fortifying the wall and clearing the wilderness just in case.
After the Anhui Incident, Chen Yi served as acting commander. At this time, the military department doubted Zhang Qian's history in the trial work, and although Chen Yi trusted his young wife, he was not easy to defend. Zhang Qian, who had a strong temperament, proposed to accept the organizational review and leave the military headquarters to work in the first division. When Zhang Qian was about to return to the military headquarters to reunite with Chen Yi, Chen Yi could not sleep at night, tossing and turning, and groaning into a desperate way, expressing his sincere feelings for his wife. The poem is titled "The Inner Man Has Not Arrived in the East, but the Night Has Done Something":
Foot sounds often ring in the ears,
All the way to the storm dream can not be achieved.
Missing four more days,

In November 1943, Chen Yi was ordered to go to Yan'an. Due to the difficult road and the fact that Zhang Qian had only given birth to her next child for two months, she was unable to accompany her. Chen Yi passed through Huaibei and Lunan, interspersed with enemy defenses, climbed the Taihang Mountains, and went west to block the snow, and it was February of the following year. He missed Zhang Qian, sincerely, and recited a moving poem:
The ground is cold and cold to the northwest,
Haruka Yamakawa and his guests are heartfelt,
The most is the deserted village wind and snow night,
Si Jun chanted until dawn.
"Sijun chanted until dawn" - what an unforgettable love!
Zhang Qian also missed Chen Yi. During this time, she wrote a beautiful poem "Sending Nostalgia":
"The sound of the song is made up of lonely cicadas, and the feelings are depressed and sad. The clouds walked back to the sky, and the wanderer stayed in the middle of the brigade for a long time. The air is staring at the clouds, looking through the autumn water people do not arrive. Several times to return to the hope of rejoicing, several times to pass on the wrong return date. The return date is wrong, the spring and autumn have been twice, and the child has grown into a double father. ”
After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Chen Yi served as the main leader of the East China Strategic Region, during which time, due to the frequent wars in the East China Battlefield, Zhang Qian withdrew to Shandong and Dalian with the three sons of Wu Su, Danhuai, and Xiao Lu. The two went their separate ways. He often conveyed love by letters and poems. In August 1947, when Chen Yi heard that the ferry from Jiaodong to Dalian was in distress, he wrote "Thoughts" with great concern. To pin his worries about his wife and children. After learning that his wife and children were unharmed, he wrote to Zhang Qian and said:
"Talking about Jiaodong's tight situation last year and finding out about the situation before you crossed the sea, it was even more frightening and happy at the same time. I was horrified that the festival was really dangerous and hurt you and the children, and the joy was that it was finally safe and sound, proving that the enemy had helpless us! Remember that there should be no separation after this, and it is only possible to quickly try to reunite! ”
He also said: "You should not reply to the letter, but if you receive this letter, you will try to return to Shandong and turn around to reunite." Under the safe conditions of crossing the sea, we should not hesitate to make the trip quickly, and it is better to be fast and look forward to it. ”
Fully revealed his pain of lovesickness. At the end of the letter, it reads:
"You should return quickly, and you should arrive in bohai (safety first between the way) before the two seasons of July." To the point. ”

In April 1949, he nicknamed Zhang Qian "Qian'er" in a letter to Zhang Qian, in which he said affectionately:
"After going south to work, I am very busy, every time I have meetings, writing documents, talking, there is almost no time for rest, if there is also a little bit of free time, I want you to come to my side as well, just think that you are not the same as I owe to the south." Fortunately, the victory is very fast, and I hope that after going down to Nanjing, the train will work out, that is, I hope that you can quickly meet with the three children in the south, and you can't let your husband and wife have no wife for many years, and the wife has no husband to accompany, the son is away from his parents, and his parents are separated from their beloved children! Pay attention to the body, you eat too little, to raise fat to meet the child's father! ”
After liberation, Chen Yi served as the first mayor of Shanghai, New China. Zhang Qian is the director of the Missionary Unit of the Shanghai Russian Language College. In order to improve her Russian language proficiency and adapt to the new situation, Zhang Qian resolutely entrusted her newborn daughter to another person, and in early 1951, she left her husband and four children and ran to the Russian Language College in Beijing for further study. Although he was forced to drop out of school due to tuberculosis, he continued to study hard and finally mastered Russian proficiently. When Chen Yi visited the Soviet Union in 1952, she worked as a translator. Later, she became an editor at a publishing house in Shanghai, and translated and published two Soviet literary works under the pseudonym Geng Xing, "ShaYuan" and "Ordinary People". Chen Yi has great respect for knowledge and talents, and greatly appreciates and admires Zhang Qian's actions. In his letter to his parents, he specifically addressed this point, and from it he gave birth to a very important principle:
Zhang Qian has gone to Beijing to study at the Russian College and is scheduled to graduate at the end of this year. He was able to complete his Russian studies, and thereafter he could serve as a russian school teacher and interpreter, with expertise in learning and a way to stand up, which was very gratifying. Originally, she had served in the revolutionary camp for nearly fifteen years, successively serving as section clerk, section chief, political assistant, and other positions, and then serving as the deputy director of academic affairs of the Russian School in Shanghai, she knew that it would not be a problem to continue to work, if the salary was also special at the regimental level, she could get a monthly salary of four hundred units, but still advocated that she study for another year and cultivate specialized Russian talents, so that she could be more reliable and have a consolidated development prospect. Therefore, it is impossible not to let her go to Jingmen for a period of time. This is the fundamental principle that new China has done things for people based on their own expertise, and I hope that the parents will convey this intention to their children, brothers, sisters, and the younger generations. Chinese everyone is so worried about not being rich and strong, if it is still consistent, it will be parasitic exploitation, and it will not be a situation for oneself or the country. ”
Chen Yi was very admiring of Zhang Qian's character and knowledge. He often praised Zhang Qian as a "virtuous helper" and often prided himself on his wife. They help each other, they are like-minded, they are very interesting in their daily lives.
After an important meeting, Zhou Enlai mao volunteered himself, paid for it himself, invited Marshals Chen Yi and He Long to eat dog meat at the Beijing Hotel, and specially called To invite Zhang Qian and Xue Ming to accompany him. To help, Zhou Enlai also asked the staff to buy a bottle of Moutai wine. The aroma of Moutai wine was fragrant, and Chen Yi took a sip and praised: "Good wine!" Wine! After several rounds of wine, Chen Yi's face was rosy, and crystal beads of sweat hung all over his face. Zhang Qian, who was heartbroken for her husband, stepped on Chen Yi's right foot with her left foot, and Chen Yi exaggeratedly shouted, "Ouch! Then he turned to Zhang Qian next to him and said, "Hey, hey, hey, today is the prime minister who invited us to eat wine, and the prime minister gave me a toast, how can I not drink it?" Don't you always step on my feet underneath! ”
A few words caused an uproar in the audience, Zhang Qian, blushing her eyelids, couldn't help but burst into laughter.
They are a couple of like-minded, like-minded, shared hardships, and a pair of warriors who work together in the rough seas.
On the occasion of Chen Yi's death, Zhang Qian deliberately brought the poems of Qi Baishi's handwritten poems to the hospital bed, and recorded Chen Yi's famous poem "Gift to Comrades" written in 1936: "Twenty years of footwork, how many dangers can be tied in a lifetime?" The clouds of Mo Dao will eventually cover the sun, and the harsh winter will pass through the spring buds. ”
Chen Yi regarded this poem as a work of life, and from this incident, we can also see how delicate Zhang Qian's heart is! She herself wrote a poem to comfort her sick husband:
The mountains and rivers are poor and there is no way, and the willows are dark and the flowers are bright and another village.
The journey of life will be dangerous, and the fight against diseases should also be known to see.
Even in the situation of the lack of strength, Zhang Qian still hopes that her beloved husband and lifelong comrades-in-arms can survive the last period of his life, which is really decades of suffering and deep infatuation!
On January 6, 1972, The suffering Mr. Chen passed away unexpectedly, which was an extremely heavy blow to Zhang Qian. Just 2 months later, she was also diagnosed with cancer. She accepted this fact with astonishing calmness. Very calmly, he said to the children, "When I learned that I had the same disease as your father, I felt that the wounds in my heart gradually subsided. Let me embark on the path your father walked a year ago, and follow his footprints step by step! ”
As a loyal companion and comrade-in-arms, Zhang Qian was "not overwhelmed by the feelings of grief and intimidated by the evil disease" in the situation of losing his relatives and suffering from a terminal illness, and began to sort out his manuscript in accordance with Chen Yi's will. In this creative labor, Zhang Qian has a deep and profound affection for her deceased husband and has given all her heart and soul. "Selected Poems of Chen Yi" is a compilation of Zhang Qian's sick body after dragging lung cancer resection surgery. And attached at the end of the book: "Comrade Chen Yi's poetry anthology was compiled into the last two poems" to tell the heroic soul of the deceased husband.

I hope that you can continue, you must understand that the tumultuous battles and vain praises are just a passing cloud, do not know how to calculate and obsess. In your father's articles, speeches and poems, there are some really noble things, and you should not wait for idle light! "It's heart-warming and touching.
Deng Xiaoping's daughter Mao Mao (Deng Rong), who had been a neighbor of Chen Yi's family, once said: "Uncle Chen and Aunt Zhang Qian are a loving couple. Uncle Chen was both affectionate and thin to his wife, while Aunt Zhang Qian was even more considerate and slightly harsh to Uncle Chen. They are also a couple in distress, who have endured all kinds of difficulties and dangers. Aunt Zhang Qian also passed away shortly after Uncle Chen's death. Chen Yi and Zhang Qian married as lifelong partners in the war-torn era, and for more than 30 years, with foam, hearts and minds, wind and rain together, they attached this love to the cause they fought for all their lives, always updated, new and beautiful, becoming a good story in the world.
