Lecture 5 of "True and False Confusion in the Three Kingdoms" Half a life's desire

Emerson said that thinking is the seed of action. Yes, the seed contains the whole of life, and thinking is everything in life. So Marx said it even more absolutely, thinking is everything.

Emerson was an American thinker, a literary figure, and a representative of Transcendentalism.

He famously said that "the world shrinks itself into a drop of dew."

When you feel lost about the world, as long as you look down and think, the world is a drop of water on your finger, you will understand that the world is so simple, life is so simple.

This way you will suddenly come out of the confusion and you will become relaxed, relaxed, and enjoyable.

That's the beauty of thinking.

Having previously talked about the various reasons for the Han Xiandi Zen Concession, we should now think in connection with reality, and what inspiration and reference we have.

Lecture 5 What you want in half a lifetime

What is the difference between Emperor Xian of Han's being the Duke of Shanyang and Sun Wukong's "Great Sage of Qi heaven"?

"Zhou Yi" is the "first of the Qunjing", which is a dialectic that expounds the world's outlook on life with the change of yin and yang as the core, and is the earliest dialectical thought in the world, but it is not named after dialectics. Therefore, there are two main lines of yin and yang in the culture of the Chinese nation, which are Taoism and Confucianism.

Taoism advocates inaction, and Confucianism advocates progress. These two ideas provide answers for Chinese when choosing a path.

Ordinary people first choose the enterprising spirit of Confucianism, take benevolence as the core, take love as the program, contribute to society, and realize personal social value.

If one is hindered in the pursuit of enterprising progress, or fails. Then, they will retreat to the "Tao" and choose to avoid the world, do nothing, and be quiet.

Lao Tzu himself is the same, he was originally a Zhou official, and later he chose to avoid the world, and the later Tao Yuanming, Su Dongpo, and a series of people who thought they were "saints" also chose this way.

Is there a middle way?

Yes.

There are two. One was Liu Xie, the Emperor of Han Xian, and the other was Liu Chan, the lord of Shu. They are two brothers.

Here we only talk about Liu Xie, the Emperor of Han Xian, and the next lecture begins to talk about Liu Chan, the lord of the Shu Dynasty.

We look at Liu Xie, he is the Duke of Shanyang, the highest official rank in ancient times, except for the Son of Heaven, he is the largest, he is the highest official of the gong, "with the courtesy of the Son of Heaven, the book is not called a subject." "Sacrifice one's ancestors, or the number of the Son of Heaven, and the book is not called a subject." Not only don't you call me a vassal, you Cao Pi also have to call me "Dad", because I am your father-in-law. What is the difference between this and the "Great Sage of Qi Tian" that Sun Wukong asked for?

When writing a book, do not worship or be called subjects, which is not on the same level as the emperor on the surface?

This is the political power he enjoys. Is that big enough?

"To serve the Han Emperor with the mountains of Hanoi Yangyi", this is a huge wealth, and this wealth does not have to be mined by himself, it is the wealth of the Wei Dynasty, directly rewarded to him. Moreover, in the form of a law, it was fixed to him, and whoever robbed him, he could first ask the Cao Wei government to intervene. The Cao Wei government must act to protect it.

This is his economic power, enough for Liu Xie to use, right?

On the one hand, on the one hand, the Confucian enterprising side, he is still a person in the official field, and he has not avoided the world.

However, did Emperor Xian of Han use these powers?

After Emperor Xian of Han arrived in Shanyang, there were only two things commonly used, a hoe and a medicine chest.

Emperor Xian of Han did not use his own political and economic power.

First, he has not been to the court, nor has he been to a book. Second, he himself did not use the money given by the imperial court, and he relied on practicing medicine to use it himself.

I said in an article that life is difficult to say and it is difficult to do anything. To say easy, there is a hoe, a lifetime is enough. Of course, this hoe represents simple labor, not only the hoe, the pot at home is not available, it can also be lived, not this meaning.

Emperor Xiandi of Han used this hoe to do two things, one was to plant vegetables, and the other was to dig up medicine.

He grows vegetables, which is not the same as farmers planting vegetables, he grows vegetables and eats vegetables, and if farmers do not plant vegetables, they have no vegetables to eat, so he grows vegetables the same as Tao Yuanming.

Tao Yuanming's hoe is the same as that of Emperor Xian of Han, one is to grow vegetables, and the other is to dig up medicine. I am afraid that Tao Yuanming was still an apprentice of Emperor Xian of Han, because Emperor Xian of Han was more than a hundred years earlier than Tao Yuanming. Tao Yuanming also has economic strength, and he lives in seclusion with the accumulation of his official life. In fact, Tao Yuanming is not a hermit, if he is really reclusive, who will know him? Who would have known that there was tao yuanming in history?

Emperor Xiandi of Han's cultivation of vegetables was to cultivate sentiments and exercise the body, not to solve the problem of food and clothing.

Therefore, I am still quite envious of his vegetables.

Digging up medicines and planting medicines with hoes was also an important part of the life of Emperor Xian of Han.

In addition, it is his medicine box.

This medicine box is not a simple medicine box, it is the dream of Emperor Xiandi of Han.

This medicine box contains his new understanding and views on life, and at the same time, he summarizes and practices Chinese medicine.

Judging from the entire life of Emperor Xian of Han, emperor Xiandi of Han has always been his dream, and he has also tried in what way to save the world. Initially, when he was just becoming emperor, he used education to save the world, and in the absence of military power, Dong Zhuo still let Emperor Xian of Han exercise other powers, that is, the right to education.

This is clearly recorded in the Book of the Later Han Dynasty, and it is proved by simple original words. "In the winter of October, Taixue performed the rituals, and the car was lucky to drive at the Gate of Yongfu City, and when he came to see his ceremony, he gave the doctor the following differences." This is the historical record of Emperor Xiandi of Han's encouragement of xingxue, and I have also talked about some of the things that education starts with children.

Educating to save the country may also have been a dream of Emperor Xian of Han, but he failed.

However, after decades of trial and practice, he found that salvation may not necessarily be an emperor, and there are other paths. That's practicing medicine.

Chinese medicine is culture, that is, philosophy, and in the process of practicing medicine, he also disseminates traditional Chinese culture.

Therefore, the Zen position of Emperor Xian of Han was not passive, and his practice of medicine was not passive.

Although Emperor Xian of Han was in the official field, he did something similar to Tao Yuanming, and had a proper name, called Shi Yin.

The typical representative of Shi Yin was Xu Shu, who was deceived by Cao Cao to Xuchang, and he was promoted to the rank of Right Lieutenant General and Yushi Zhongcheng, quite the current Supreme Prosecutor's Office Chief, but did not officially do anything for Cao Cao, "Xu Shu entered Cao's camp and did not say a word. ”

Tao Yuanming's name is retirement, which is an abandoned official, also called Shanyin.

What is the difference between Emperor Xian of Han's being the Duke of Shanyang and Sun Wukong's "Great Sage of Qi heaven"?

There is also a difference with Tao Yuanming, as far as The Han Xiandi Emperor Shi Yin is concerned, the practice of medicine is still active and enterprising, so Liu Xie is taking the middle route.

This was the second half of Emperor Xian's life.

In fact, we can also take this intermediate path now.

We must start a business, no matter how big the business is, we need to ensure that the income can flow in continuously, and we don't have to invest too much energy in the future.

As long as it is not too greedy, it should still be able to achieve, for example, buy a façade to rent, long-term rental, which is to ensure that income continues to flow in.

This is an example that only inspires the reader to think, and the reader should also be able to find a more suitable way for himself.

On this basis, we boldly start a business, be proactive, forge ahead according to our own ideals, and do not have to be too afraid of failure. Life is made up of tortuous paths, and success and failure exist at the same time.

We must be troubled by failures and setbacks, and only treat it as a part of our adult life and face it calmly.

Emperor Xian of Han can still give up, we give up some small things outside the body, what can't we do?

Therefore, being proactive and facing it calmly is not contradictory, but should become a creed to stick to in life.

All right. Regarding the confused philosophy of Emperor Xiandi of Han, I will finish all of it.
