The U.S. Department of Defense will establish a new working group to track UFOs (UFOs), replacing the current working group on tracking UFOs.

According to the US "Air Force Times" reported on the 24th, the US Department of Defense issued a statement on the 23rd local time, saying that the US Department of Defense will set up a new working group to track UFOs (UFOs).

According to the report, the U.S. Navy has previously established a UFO working group, and the new working group is named: Air Target Identification and Synchronous Attitude Group (AOIMSG).

"The team will coordinate operations in the Department of Defense and the entire U.S. government to detect, identify, and identify targets of concern in special airspace, assess and mitigate any related threats, and ensure flight safety and national security," the U.S. Department of Defense statement said. "The Department of Defense has been taking seriously any alarms that have been identified or intruded by unknown air targets, investigating them one by one."

On June 25 of this year, the U.S. government released its UFO report. The report, which discloses UFO information held by the United States, is largely based on observations by U.S. military pilots, and only one of the 144 cases of unidentified aviation phenomena (UAPs) mentioned is almost certainly interpreted as "a deflated balloon." The report was written jointly by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and a Navy-led task force established by the Department of Defense.

According to US media reports at the time, senior U.S. government officials who listened to UFO briefings revealed that there was no evidence that the aerial objects witnessed by naval pilots in recent years were alien spacecraft, and they still could not explain this confusing anomalous activity in the air.
