An art auction was held in Manhattan, UNITED States, in which Van Gogh's elaborately copied sunflower paintings, once believed to have been destroyed by the aerial attacks of World War II, were unveiled. Jiro Suzuki, a famous suzuki foundation consultant in the anime, is proud and bids for it for $300 million.
Later, at a press conference, the Suzuki Group announced that it would contact collectors around the world to gather their sunflower copy paintings in Japan for a super-large-scale exhibition. They then hired seven experts, including Kogoro Maori, Keiko Anderson, head of exhibition planning, and Natsumi Miyadai, an appraiser of the paintings, to form a team of "Seven Samurai" to provide security for the sunflower painting exhibition.
As a result, kidd, the thief, sent a warning letter from the beginning to steal the work, and he not only made a big fuss about the venue, but also nearly blew up the transport plane in order to rob the painting.
As the exhibition date approaches, Conan and his friends must cross unimaginable peaks as soon as possible...

The theatrical version of this part has two highlights:
One is that Kidd the Strange Thief appears for the fifth time in the theatrical version,
It is also the second time that his true identity (Black Feather Quick Fight) appears in the theatrical version.
The second is the first cameo appearance in the Conan theater version of the important character in "Magic Quick Fight" (kidd's assistant to the strange thief Kidd).
But the Suzuki family is really rich!
An art museum was built in the belly of the mountain for Conan to play with.
