The construction results of the East Mekong Central Future Zone have been "new". The reporter learned yesterday that after the Municipal Aiqing Cultural Center (tentative name) openly solicited architectural concept plans, after more than 3 months of fierce competition, the review expert group conducted in-depth research and finally selected 4 excellent programs.

Guided by the global future community, led by digital reform, and centered on urban design, the global solicitation activity is an attempt by Jindong District and "China Jinmao" to jointly promote high-quality development. Jindong District strives to build a benchmark for international urban projects with high standing and high standards, and strives to promote common prosperity with high-quality urban construction.

Since the Aiqing Cultural Center opened the worldwide call for architectural concept proposals in August this year, a total of 35 design units from 9 countries have participated in the competition, including 3 "Pritzker Prize" winners who are known as the "Nobel Prize in Architecture".

The theme of Morpheus is: alchemy of poetry as a scene, humanistic poetry and natural artistic conception. The design absorbs the rich natural metaphors in Ai Qing's poetry, outlines the core ideas of Ai Qing's cultural creation, and expresses the Chinese national spirit by embodying the four seasons, climate, rivers and other elements in his poetry. Through the core position of the landscape, the park, indoor and outdoor, above and below ground space are integrated with each other. The shape of the building is undulating and flexible, natural and lively, reflecting the poetry and unique charm of cultural architecture, conveying the rich humanistic connotation and the poet's inner deep spiritual world.

Rogers' theme is: a book of the city, a public, open, vibrant cultural center. The design uses the form of "book" as a collection carrier of Jinhua's humanistic poems, reflecting the unique spiritual memory of the city. The design "binds" different functional chapters like books to create a book of the city that can be read. The park landscape is integrated into the interior of the building, and the building forms an open landscape image facing the park and the river, creating a very open and vibrant public cultural building.

The theme of Bauzanbach is: a poem on the water. The design uses the image of water potential fluctuations to make the covered bridge of the building swim between the park and the building, establish the relationship between the interaction and dialogue between the building and the park, so that the artificial and natural complement each other and contain poetry. Introduce the natural landscape of the park indoors, let the vegetation pass through the volume of the building, climb up the floor to reach the terrace garden, so that the landscape and space merge with each other.

The theme of B.I.G is a landscape-style cultural center with the image of "Big Leaf Lotus". The design scheme takes the original meaning of Ai Qing's nanny "Dayan River" as the design element, and connects a series of "lotus leaves" and expresses them through the form of lotus leaves, forming a unique and transparent landscape building. With the extension of the landscape, the building and the park are interlaced and integrated, and the natural themes such as parks, buildings and lotus leaves and water temperature are expressed in a poetic form. The design is positioned as "cross-disciplinary, interactive, immersive, and adaptable", presenting a beautiful and pleasant relationship, so that the cultural center, the city, and the landscape are intertwined.

Dongmei Future Science City is located on the banks of the Wuyi River and covers an area of 1.84 square kilometers. As one of the "6+1" urban landmarks of the East Mekong Future Science City project, AiQing Cultural Center is located in the east of the East Mekong Future Science City, north of Hengsi Road and south of the Central Green Valley, with a total construction area of 40,000 square meters. From the perspective of urban function, it will be led by "Ai Qing poetry culture" to create a future citizen cultural activity center and a city social home. The main formats are the permanent venue of the Ai Qing Poetry Forum Awards, the Culture and Art Exhibition Hall and the Ai Qing Cultural Exhibition Venue.
