I. The Struggle of Revolutionary Volunteers

1. Pingliu Li Uprising: In 1906, League members Liu Daoyi and Cai Shaonan launched the Pingliu Li Uprising. This uprising was the first armed uprising led by the League after its founding, and although it failed, the prestige of the League was greatly enhanced.

III. Evaluation of the Xinhai Revolution: Nature: The Xinhai Revolution was a great bourgeois-democratic revolution in Chinese history

Progressive: The Xinhai Revolution overthrew the reactionary rule of the Qing Dynasty and proclaimed the end of more than two thousand years of absolute monarchy. It has created a modern national democratic revolution in the full sense, greatly promoted the ideological emancipation of the Chinese nation, and opened the floodgates of China's progressive trend.

Limitations: The task of anti-imperialism and anti-feudalism has not been completely completed, and the nature of semi-colonial and semi-feudal society has not been changed.

Lesson: The road to a bourgeois republic is not feasible in China.
