The "Happy Home" project is a platform project set up by the Zhengzhou Charity Federation to empower village communities by charity, consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation, promote rural revitalization, and explore grass-roots governance. It aims to set up a rural revitalization mutual aid fund crowdfunding project through the "Internet + public welfare charity", with family affection and nostalgia as the link, through the project management system, around the actual needs of the village community residents, set up a rural revitalization mutual aid fund crowdfunding project, integrate the resources of the village community, widely mobilize social forces to participate, realize the participation of village community residents in charity fundraising and registered volunteer services without leaving home, so that charity can take root in the village community, enhance the ability of the village community to serve the masses, and continuously enhance the happiness of the masses.
In Jinshui District, the research team came to the Shigouhe Headquarters of Laitongzhai Village to conduct field research and discussion on the "Happy Home" project, and listened to the use of disaster relief funds and materials and the post-disaster reconstruction work report of the Jinshui District Charity Federation. The research group asked all relevant units to strengthen their responsibilities in the construction of the "Happy Home" project, fully understand the significance of the project's purpose, mobilize social forces to participate in the joint construction of the village (society), make charity take root in the village community, enhance the ability of the village community to serve the masses, and enhance the happiness of the masses.
Subsequently, the research team came to Huiji District, and successively went to Huangheqiao Village and Sunzhuang Village in Guxing Town to investigate the post-disaster reconstruction and preparation of the "Happy Home" project, and listened to the relevant charity work report of the Huiji District Charity Federation. The geological foundation of the Qiuling area is fragile, and during the "7.20" exceptionally heavy rainstorm, it was seriously impacted and a large-scale landslide occurred. The research group pointed out that the first is to be standardized and transparent in the supervision of the use of post-disaster reconstruction funds, ensure that each fund is implemented in practice, and establish a charitable image of "sunshine, transparency, standardization and pragmatism". The second is to raise awareness, strengthen organizational leadership, and implement the "Happy Homeland" village and community mutual assistance project. The third is to increase publicity, improve the public awareness of the "Happy Home" village community mutual aid project, promote the effective coverage of charity to the grass-roots level, create a good social atmosphere in which the whole society supports the development of charity, and realize the organic combination of the development of charity and the "Happy Home" village community mutual aid project.
In Zhongmu County, the research team and the Zhongmu County Charity Federation first extended condolences to the family of Peng Feng, former commander of the inspection unit of The Zhongmu County Mouyuan Water Development Co., Ltd., who died in the line of flood prevention and disaster relief and was posthumously awarded the title of "Outstanding Communist Party Member of Zhengzhou City" by the Zhengzhou Municipal CPC Committee. Subsequently, the research team went to Chenqiao Village, Hansi Town, Zhongmu County, to check the post-disaster reconstruction and the pilot situation of "Happy Home", affirmed the "Happy Home" project in Chenqiao Village to improve the quality of life of farmers as the core vision and goal, and suggested that the relevant units adopt the overall planning and step-by-step implementation plan to truly integrate the "Happy Home" project into the rural construction of "beautiful villages, beautiful environment, sweet life, society and beauty".
Next, the research team came to the Pingping Street Community, Nanqianyuan Community and Huayi Community Research Project Plan of the West Street Street Office of Guancheng Hui Nationality District, and listened to the charity work report of the Guancheng District Charity Federation and related units. The research group affirmed the use of funds and materials for flood prevention and disaster relief in Guancheng District, and asked it to do a good job in auditing and supervision work in a strict and down-to-earth manner, so that each fund and material can play its due role, and at the same time, it is necessary to put forward requirements for the pilot project of "Happy Home" in Guancheng District, to give full play to the special role of charitable organizations in the third distribution, community construction, etc., to solidly fulfill the social responsibilities of charitable organizations, and to build and implement this platform project of charitable empowerment of village communities and exploration of grass-roots governance.
Finally, the research team came to Zhongyuan District to learn about the repair of the water damage project on Zhongyuan West Road and Tongbai Road Street, listened to the office, community, construction party, etc. to introduce the implementation of the project, and carefully consulted relevant materials. The research group stressed that the value of charitable organizations should not only be more than disaster relief and poverty alleviation, but also have a greater vision and pattern for doing a good job in charity work, and pour more attention and strength into charitable organizations in consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation and participating in social governance.
The three consecutive days of research were intensive and orderly. The research team of Zhengzhou Charity Federation conducted a comprehensive investigation and investigation of the disaster relief work carried out since the "7.20" in the above districts and counties, the promotion of donations after the "Zhengzhou Charity Day" in 2021, the current status of the construction of the charity network, the completion of the work goals in 2021, and the planning, promotion and difficulties and problems of the "Happy Home" project. The research group fully affirmed the results of all districts and counties in strictly controlling the distribution of disaster relief funds and materials before, during, and after the event, and giving full play to the role of social forces as the main force in participating in disaster relief, and hoped that the districts and counties (cities) would integrate the construction of the "Happy Home" project into the post-disaster reconstruction work, not only play a role in improving the basic facilities of the village community, but also take the lead from point to point, integrate social welfare resources, establish a "good governance" village community mutual assistance platform, solve the problem of the masses' "urgent difficulties and anxieties", and make charity play an energy role in helping the difficult groups. Post-epidemic recovery and reconstruction, grass-roots social governance, the construction of rural civilization, and the promotion of the development of beautiful villages have added bricks and tiles to create a social atmosphere of "I am for everyone and everyone is for me" for the village community, and effectively enhance the sense of gain and happiness of the masses.
