Life can be seen clearly: Su Shi's seven masterpieces "East Column Pear Blossom"

author:Learn and learn

Su Shi "East Column Pear Blossom"

The pear blossoms are pale white and the willows are dark blue, and the flowers are full of flowers when the willows fly.

Worried about a snow plant in the east rail, how clear is life?

Brief Note:

This is the third song in Su Shi Xining's "Five Absolute Perfections of Hekong Mizhou" in the tenth year (1077). Kong Zonghan (孔宗汉), courtesy name Zhou Han (周汉), then succeeded Su Shi as the official of Mizhou Zhizhou. Lu You once pointed out that these two sentences originated from Du Mu's "laying down a pile of snow under the pear blossoms, who will do this next year?" ”

Poetic Scattering:

The pear blossoms are pale white, and the willows are thick and green,

As the willows flew in the sky, pear blossoms bloomed all over the city.

Faced with sorrow a tree of snow in the east railing,

Can't help but sigh, how many times can life be seen clearly?

Analysis

The first sentence of the poem is inscribed with pear blossoms and willows as a foil. The pear blossoms are pale white, the willow leaves are dark blue; the willows fly, and the pear blossoms are noisy. Reply to the sentence form, write out the late Spring Festival objects.

Three or four sentences turn from chants to lyricism. Three sentences are the key to the whole poem, emphasizing that pear blossoms are like snow, pointing out the spring of tomorrow night, and leading to the following "Qingming". The close-up "a plant in the east column", the loneliness of the tree hints at the loneliness of people, which has "sorrow", and only then has a sigh of life. Thus the poet changed from the object of the flower appreciator to the subject of lamenting life, and the function of the chant and the human being was revealed.

Volume 35 of the Imperial Selection of Tang and Song Poetry" comments: "The feelings of the thick are occasionally revealed in what they see, and in the last sentence, they are almost in contention with Liu Mengde (Yu Xi)."

Here are two anecdotes about the poem.

1, Lu You's "Notes on the Old Scholar's Nunnery", Volume 10: Shaoxing Zhong, Yu in Fuzhou, see He Jinzhi's great works, self-proclaimed taste from Zhang Wenqian (耒) tour, every time I see Wen Qian Oh this poem, I think it is out of reach. Yu pressed Du Muzhi's sentence: "Lay down a pear blossom and a snow plant, who will do this next year?" "Dongpo gu is not a poet who steals pastures, but it is a sentence that has been said by the predecessors, and the depth of He Wen's hidden love is also so-called?

In the Ming Dynasty, Yu Ben's "Poetry of Yi Lao Tang" refuted Lu Youyue under the volume: Yu Aipo's old poems are natural, not imitating and doing it, and letting Weng (Lu You) is the so-called washing away the dirt.

2, Qing Dynasty Yu Fan "Hulou Pen Talk" Volume V: This poem is wonderful. And Ming Lang Renbao (Lang Ying) thinks that the cloud is "pale white" and the cloud is "a snow", afraid of repeating the words, and wants to change the "pear blossom white" into "peach blossom", which is really strong as an interpreter. The first sentence "pear blossom pale white" is also the title, and the second sentence "flower full of city" is inheriting "pear blossom pale white". If the first sentence of Yi yi is "peach blossoms are full of flowers", then "flowers full of cities" belong to peach blossoms, which is not related to "a snow plant in the east column", and it is a peach blossom and not a compound pear blossom. Such talk is a laughing stock.

At this point, I suddenly thought that the person who made himself clever and forcibly changed his poems for people was also what Yu Fan called "a forced solution." Lang Ying was a famous scholar in the Ming Dynasty, and when he changed his poems to Dongpo, he became a "big laughingstock". You are a XX division, Dong Shi Xiaoyi, can you still escape the fate of the "laughing stock"? A laugh.
