Xiaoji Town is located in the western part of Haiyang City, Shandong Province, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with a river valley plain in the middle. It is bordered by Twenty Lidian Town to the east, Xingcun Town to the south, Wandi Town, Laiyang City to the west, and Facheng Town to the north. It has an area of 170.2 km². It has jurisdiction over 76 administrative villages with a population of 57,000. The town government is located in Xiaoji Village.

【Overview】Xiaoji Town is located in the west of Haiyang City, bordering Twenty Lidian Town to the east, Xingcun Town to the south, Wandi Town of Laiyang City to the west, and Facheng Town to the north. It has an area of 169 km² and a population of 50,100 (2009). It administers 76 administrative villages. The town government is located in Qianshabuqian Village, 19 kilometers east of the city. The territory is hilly, the terrain is high in the north and low in the south, with Futai Mountain in the east, Tomu Mountain in the south, Xiangshan Mountain in the west, Andi Yu Mountain in the north, and a river valley plain in the middle. Bluestone Road and Hailai Road run through the whole territory. Among the monuments is the tomb of the Han general Ji Xin.

【History】The town is named after the village of Koki. Xiao and Ji built a village here, so they ordered the village to be named Xiao Ji, and later played as Xiao Ji Village. According to the "Chronicle of Haiyang County", "It is necessary to patrol the key areas, build small discipline barracks and piers in detail, and the beacon guards are prepared, and the border defense is not worried." In 1943, it belonged to the 14th District of Haiyang County, and in 1945, It was established as Xiaoji District. In 1956, the district was withdrawn and Established as Xiaoji Township and Quanshuitou Township. In 1958, it was changed to Koki Commune and Quanshuitou Commune. In 1960, it was re-established as a district, and in 1968 it was changed to a commune. In 1984, the commune was withdrawn and Xiaoji Town, Quanshuitou Township and Huangya Township were established. In October 1995, Huangya Township was abolished and merged into Quanshuitou Township; 10 natural villages, including Liangjiazhuang, Yushan, and Xituduitou in Quanshuitou Township, were assigned to Beibu Hou Township, and 8 natural villages in Quanshuitou Township, including Taojiagou, Xijiaomadao, Shangshuibo, Dongjiaomadao, Xilelong, Liujiayuan, Dongliujiaxuan, Suoziqian, Qingquantuo, and Xiashuipo, were assigned to Xiaoji Township, and 8 natural villages in Quanshuitou Township, including Lijialong, Luoyeshanhou, Xiahulongtou, Miaojiagou, Shanghulongtou, Zhonghulongtou, Xijinjiao, and Dajinlongtou, were assigned to Xiaoji Town. At the beginning of 1997, the eight natural villages of Xiaoji Town, namely Heye Shanhou, Li Jia Yan, Xia Hu Longtou, ShangHu Longtou, Zhonghu Longtou, Xijin Diao, Miaojiagou and Dajin Diao, were assigned to Quanshuitou Township; Xiaoji Town had an area of 77.7 square kilometers and a population of 29,000 people, with jurisdiction over Xiaoji, Chen Jiaxuan, Qianshabuqian, Houshabuqian, Diaopan, Beidoushan, Xinzhuangtou, Xisogezhuang, Dongsogezhuang, Xiyekou, Dongyekou, Fenghuang, Xiaodiaojia, Dadiaojia, Shanwangjia, Shimayantou, Yujiazhuang, Jijiadian, Ting'erya, There are 39 administrative villages, including Broomstick, Locust Tree Bottom, Wuhuling, Xiujiaxuan, Dongliyuan, Watangbu, Shanshuiku, Nanbu, Xiweiyuantou, Dongweiyuantou, Xizhaizitou, Nantai, Laogushan, Xisanguan, Dongsanguan, Beisanguan, Xianiantou, Xikou and Dafuyan; Quanshuitou Township covers an area of 68 square kilometers. With a population of 38,000, it has jurisdiction over Quanshuitou Village, Jufengtou, Jiagezhuang, Wangsu, Gujiajiao, Dongtuduitou, Luxuan, Shanghu longtou, Xiahulongtou, Dajinjiao, Xijinjiao, Miaojiagou, Dayanggezhuang, Xiaoyanggezhuang, Shuyuan, Xinjiakuan, Xiaze, Heyeshanhou, Zituihou, Lijiaxuan, Yugezhuang, Niugenshu, Damenggezhuang, Nanmengzhuang, Nanhonggou, Lujiagou, Huangya, Sangzikou, Zhongshan, Houheshan, Dabozi, Qianbozi, Dongdonggezhuang, Xidonggezhuang, Anjiao, Yahou, There are 37 administrative villages in Sima Guanzhuang. In December 2000, Quanshuitou Township was abolished and merged into Xiaoji Township. In 2002, Xiaoji Town covered an area of 169.44 square kilometers, 60,200 people, and had jurisdiction over 76 villages.

Qingshi Road and Hailai Road run through the whole territory with convenient transportation. It is 20 kilometers away from the municipal government station in the east and 35 kilometers away from the Laiyang municipal government station in the west, and is located in the three coastal open city centers of Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai, 90 kilometers away from the three cities.

Yushan Mountain in the north of the border was the main battlefield of the Yushan Conference during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and the ruins still exist and are listed as county-level cultural relics protection units. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, five villages west of Xiaoji, including Jijiadian, Ting'er Cliff, Locust Tree Bottom, Broomstick, and Wuhuling, established a "five-tiger joint defense" against the Japanese puppet army. To the east of Jijiadian Village is the tomb of the Han general Ji Xin.
