Look at the picture: a real scene of a "narrow alley" in haiyang countryside, and the two can only turn sideways when they meet

author:Jiaodong Story Meeting

Hit the rabbit with grass. Some time ago, the author went to Xiaohoujia Village in Xujiadian Town, Haiyang City. Although the main purpose of this trip is to visit the "Shitan Ice Waterfall" (for details, see: There is a "Shitan Ice Waterfall" in the ravine of Xujiadian Town, Haiyang, which has now become an Internet celebrity punch card attraction), but in addition to this, we also walked to the old residential area in the village.

From the main street to the old residential area, there are many roads to walk, we randomly chose one, but unexpectedly had an unexpected gain - found a very distinctive "narrow alley" in the middle.

Nowadays, when it comes to "narrow alleys", many friends may think of tourist attractions. In fact, "narrow alleys" are very common in the elderly, but with the development of the times, many places have been rebuilt with new houses and new streets, and the traditional "narrow alleys" can rarely be seen.

How narrow is it to be considered a narrow alley? There seems to be no authoritative standard for this. In my personal opinion, the two cannot walk side by side, which can be called "narrow alley".

And the alleys we saw in Xiaohoujia Village meet this standard. I tried it with a friend, the two walked opposite each other, and when they met, they could only pass sideways with each other, and if one of them was slightly fatter, even if it was a little difficult to turn sideways.

What is the width of this alley? Since we didn't have a tool to carry, we couldn't measure it at the time, and could only make a rough inference from the form of arm span (the arm span and height of ordinary people are roughly equal). The friend's height is more than one meter and seven meters, and his arms are only half extended in the alley, so it is speculated that the width of the alley is about eighty centimeters. The width, it feels like bicycles and large cattle can't get past it, let alone other larger means of transportation.

We later walked around the rest of the village and found that the other streets and alleys were wider. So, how did this narrow alley come about? For the time being, I don't know - because many of the houses around the alley are no longer inhabited.

Compared with the narrow alleys of tourist attractions, this alley in Xiaohoujia Village is somewhat "simple", but the latter has a more original feeling.

Judging from the situation of the surrounding households, this narrow alley is now relatively deserted. And if you think about it back then, it must have been crowded and quite lively. Time flies, generations change, and it is lamentable.
