Some people say that this calligraphy was given by Chairman Mao to US President Richard Nixon

author:Yang Zhiyong 68

Recently, there have been several articles on the Internet saying that the following calligraphy was given by Chairman Mao to US President Richard Nixon, who once visited China. It so happened that I also saw this work and admired it.

This calligraphy has a total of fifteen characters, which are: Lao Su sat on a stool, Chang'e ran to the moon, walked and watched the flowers, and the back was dropped: Mao Zedong, no year, month and day.

At first glance, it appears to be the Chairman's handwriting, and the hair features are obvious. But the overall feeling is not coherent, and in terms of temperament, there is no looking forward to each line. So I think this work should be computer-generated, not the chairman's handwriting.

Because if a calligraphy work is handwritten, it is connected up and down, avoiding left and right, and the whole work is integrated. However, this work does not have these characteristics, and there is no correspondence between each line, so it is set as a collection of words, not a handwritten book.

Then there is this work: the word "stool" on the stool of the old man is debatable, because I think it is a "deng" word, please see the following picture:

This is the word "deng" in Chairman Mao's poem liu Yuxi, is it the same as the word "stool" above? This further proves that this work is a collection of words. If it is the chairman's handwriting, there will be no such mistake.

I don't know what friends think, welcome to leave a message to discuss!
