There is a passage in the Analects of Wei Linggong, in which Zigong asks, "Whoever has a word that can be practiced for life?" Zi Yue: "Forgive me!" Do not do to others what you do not want. Translated into modern Chinese, Zigong asked his teacher Confucius: "Is there a sentence that can be followed and practiced all your life?" Confucius said, "That's probably 'forgiveness.'" What you don't want, don't impose on others. "Forgiveness is to push others with oneself."

The opposite of "no desire" is "desire." In the Analects of Yongye, Confucius once said, "He who is benevolent wants to establish himself, and he who desires to attain it." Translated into modern Chinese, the basic meaning is: the so-called benevolence means that if you want to stand, you can help others to stand together; if you want to develop, you will help others to develop together. This is the basic connotation of "loyalty".

"Loyalty" and "forgiveness" are the basic connotations and specific requirements of Confucius's thought of benevolence, and they are also confucius's "consistent way". Every time I open the Analects and read" "I want to stand up for others, I want to reach others" and "Do not do to others what I do not want", I will involuntarily fall into contemplation and inner self-reflection. Imagine if everyone could consciously uphold the "way of loyalty and forgiveness", what kind of peaceful and beautiful scene would the world be?

Now, at this moment, I think to myself: If you are alone, staying in your own home, enjoying world peace, enjoying a quiet, self-cultivation that should be your own, and poetic reverie of the future, a little child who does not know much, has not knocked on the door, without permission, has taken the risk of breaking into your home, you will definitely scold him in your heart: "What a nasty, rude bad boy!" However, I thought that my personal cultivation was not bad, but today I did a solid "bad boy".

Here's how it happened: In the morning, when I went to the river to shoot bugs, I started to circle around a weeping willow. Then, particularly unexpectedly, on the back of one leaf, I saw a bunch of pink Yang Fanzhou moth eggs, about one hundred and fifty; on the front of another leaf, I saw two American white moths laying eggs; on the other leaves, I found a larva covered with spikes in willow leaf beetles, struggling to nibble on the leaves; and at the moment of turning my head, on a thin branch, I found the larvae of a huge blue-eyed moth, larger than the one I had seen a few days before, and estimated that it was about to enter the pupal stage.

It was a big surprise to find so many subjects to photograph in a single tree, but the greed to always want to include more in the camera drove my eyes to continue searching on the low-hanging willow branches, and then I saw something strange at the top of a willow leaf, like a bug building a small nest there. I couldn't help but be curious, and as soon as I tore the nest in half—not because I was fierce, but because the nest was much more fragile than I thought, and I could hardly feel my fingers, and the nest had cracked on my fingertips, and there was no sound, or that the noise was so small, and my ears had long been accustomed to the roar of various machines, the noise of people arguing for the sake of fly-heads, the shouts of selfish people, and so on, and I could not hear the ultra-low decibel sound of the nest bursting in front of me.

At the moment when the nest broke in front of my eyes, I suddenly found that it was actually inhabited by a spider about the size of a soybean grain in its abdomen - of course, no matter what kind of creatures lived in it, it was a novelty for me in my fifties, because of the novelty, so I enjoyed it. It can be seen that in a sense, "ignorance" is also a favorable factor for reaching happiness, and the "ignorant" who is willing to explore the mysteries may put himself in happiness every day. This is probably one of the important reasons why we continue to miss our childhood, even if we spend our childhood in a very poor state of material resources.

I thought that the spider must have fled quickly in panic, because I had also opened the small house shaped like a "rice dumpling" on the top of the reed leaf, and the tube nest spider inside fled at a speed that surprised me, and if the eyes were slightly worse, I was afraid that I would not be able to see their shape clearly. Unexpectedly, the spiders that lived in this willow leaf did not make any escape movements at all.

I quietly adjusted the height of the tripod, pointed the camera lens at it, and watched intently as it spun its body around under the lens, looking for the right opportunity to press the shutter in order to take a clear picture of it. After a few minutes, I suddenly found that the spider was constantly moving around, making webs, repairing the "little house" that I had deliberately destroyed. As time went on, the newly added "bricks and tiles" at the "ruins and broken walls" became more and more clearly presented under my lens, which surprised me.

Being so offended by me, not only did it not show the panic I imagined, but it did not seem to be at all annoyed, not at all impatient. Could it be that this is an extraordinarily intelligent spider? Know how to be at ease with the encounter, know that instead of being annoyed and angry, it is better to act quickly, quickly repair the "house" that has been destroyed, and then live in peace. If you are not alarmed in this way, if you are among human beings, you can also be regarded as a gentleman's style, right?

Thinking like this, I felt ashamed, and in front of this spider, I made a "bad boy", and began to hope that this spider would quickly repair its "broken house" and then continue to live like a hermit.
