According to article 348 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China, whoever illegally possesses a relatively large amount of other drugs shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also be fined. According to Article 2 of the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Trial of Drug Crime Cases, "methadone more than 200 grams and less than 1 kilogram" is "the quantity of other drugs is relatively large".
