Putin said: "In theory, Lukashenko can stop the supply of gas flowing through Belarus, but this will not do any good." Putin said that cutting off the flow of natural gas in Belarus would violate the transit contract with Russia.
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov said on the 12th that although Belarus threatens to suspend the supply of gas to the Yamal-Europe pipeline, Russia will fulfill its obligation to supply natural gas to Europe.
