Speaking of modern Chinese literary masters
Mr. Lao She must not fail to talk about it
He's also one of my favorite writers

Lao She, formerly known as Shu Qingchun, Zi Sheyu, Beijing Manchu, graduated from Beijing Normal University, chinese modern writer, language master, the first writer in New China to win the title of "People's Artist". Lao She's literary language is easy to understand, simple and unpretentious, humorous and witty, with a strong Beijing charm.
Lao She has an inexplicable relationship with tea, he is like the modern version of Su Dongpo, literary creation, life is inseparable from his favorite tea. He once wrote in his autobiography:
I am an authentic Chinese, coffee, cocoa, soda, beer, are not liked, but only like tea. With a good cup of tea, I can enjoy all things in meditation. Although tobacco and alcohol are also my friends, they are all male - rough, warm, thoughtful, but also angry - not as gentle as tea, elegant, gentle thorns (agitation), faint interdependence; Tea is feminine.
This shows how much he loves tea.
Drinking tea is Lao She's lifelong hobby, and writing while drinking tea is a habit he has always had. According to Lao She's wife, Hu Huqing, Lao She, whether in Beibei, Chongqing or Beijing, he always had to drink tea when he wrote, and writing and drinking tea have become an inseparable way of life for Lao She. Whether it is green tea, black tea, or other teas, Lao She loves to taste, and has a great tea addiction, three changes a day, morning, middle and evening each holding a pot, can be called "tea addicts".
Even when he was moving to Yunnan, he once had a gathering of friends, and when he had no money to eat, he roasted a few cans of earthen tea and reminisced around the charcoal basin. "Cold night guests come to tea as wine", showing the demeanor of the literati and scholars.
Even when he goes abroad, he does not forget to carry tea with him, and tea is like his old friend, inseparable.
Once, Lao She went to Moscow for a meeting, and the Soviets knew that he loved tea and specially prepared a hot water bottle for him. Lao She was quite happy, and quickly brewed a cup of tea and prepared to taste it slowly. Unexpectedly, I just drank a few sips, and without noticing, the waiter actually took the cup and poured out the tea. The waiter saw that there was half a cup of tea placed there, thinking that Lao She drank the leftovers, so he thoughtfully poured out the tea. Lao She was very angry after finding out: "Doesn't she know that Chinese drink tea all day long?" ”
In fact, this is a collision of Eastern and Western tea cultures. In the old days, "old Beijingers" loved to drink tea, and drinking tea in the morning was a traditional way of life. They have to drink the tea "through", this day is comfortable, only then can they have momentum. Westerners have time to drink tea, such as morning tea, morning tea, afternoon tea, evening tea. Because of the difference in culture, this kind of thing happens.
Lao She drinks tea very casually and is also very casual. Not only do I like to drink tea on various occasions in my own home, but I also like to drink tea in a tea house. He tasted famous teas all over the place, such as "West Lake Longjing", "Huangshan Maofeng", "Keemun Black Tea", "Phoenix Single Cong"... He didn't miss it.
He not only likes to drink tea himself, but also likes to invite others to drink tea. In the past, old Beijingers had the exquisiteness of respecting tea, and when guests came, they must make tea, he made a wide range of friends, and often invited ordinary people to drink tea in his house.

But a person who is so good at tea once wanted to quit tea, what is the reason for this? It turned out that the price of tea was too high to make trouble. In his article "Quitting Tea", he said:
I don't know how to live after quitting tea, and why I live. However, whether I like it or not, the increase in tea prices in recent years has taught me to often have a small goosebump!
The tea should have been fragrant, but now the incense pieces of thirty yuan or two are not only not fragrant, but also have a salty taste! Why not bubble the skin of the salted egg and drink it, but buy salty tea alone? Sixty yuan one or two can not be salty, but not much fragrance, sixty yuan one or two ah! Who knows if tomorrow will be twice as long!
What's more, quitting tea seemed to kill him:
I'm afraid, tea must also be quit! I think that after quitting tea, I will probably be eligible to go to the Western Elysium - to catch the child early, don't feed the sin and go again! Come to think of it, tea must also be quit!
The love of tea jumped on the paper.
In 1987, Lao She created a tea-related drama work "Tea House", which tells the history of the changes of tea houses in the 50 years from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, reflecting the epitome of the old society of that era, with a strong custom of the old Beijing tea house. Later, the "Lao She Tea House" named after Lao She also became the city card of Beijing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, and it can be regarded as the best memorial to Mr. Wang.
Everyone's life, there is always a little bit of preference, for Lao She, with tea, this half of the fun of life has.
