On November 11, Zheng Xuexuan, deputy secretary of the party group and general manager of China Construction Group, met with Jiang Xuguang, secretary of the party group and chairman of China South-to-North Water Diversion Group Co., Ltd., and Zhang Zongyan, deputy secretary of the party group and general manager, at the headquarters in Beijing, and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement between China State Construction Group and South-to-North Water Diversion Group. The two sides said that they will deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions on the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, deepen pragmatic cooperation in the fields of water conservancy project construction, national water network construction, water ecological protection and water pollution control, and work together to promote the high-quality development of the follow-up project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. Zhang Zhaoxiang, deputy secretary of the party group and director of China State Construction Group, Ma Zeping, member of the party group and deputy general manager, and Sun Zhiyu, member of the party group and deputy general manager of the South-to-North Water Diversion Group, attended the talks and signed the agreement.
Zheng Xuexuan welcomed jiang Xuguang and Zhang Zongyan and his entourage, and thanked the South-to-North Water Diversion Group for its long-term trust and support to China State Construction Group. Zheng Xuexuan said that the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is a major strategic infrastructure related to the overall strategic situation, long-term development and people's well-being, and since the establishment of the South-to-North Water Diversion Group for more than a year, it has comprehensively strengthened the operation and management of the south-to-north water diversion project, actively expanded the water-related business, and started from a high starting point and promoted with high quality. China State Construction Group has rich experience in the construction of water conservancy infrastructure and water environmental protection projects, and the next step will be to deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions on the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, take the initiative to serve the major national strategies, vigorously participate in the construction of follow-up projects of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, deepen cooperation and exchanges with the South-to-North Water Diversion Group in the fields of water conservancy project construction, national water network construction, water ecological protection and water pollution control, and promote the implementation of the strategic cooperation framework agreement. Jiang Xuguang expressed his gratitude to China State Construction Group for its concern, support and assistance to the South-to-North Water Diversion Group and the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, as well as for its contributions to the construction of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project, and introduced the basic situation and follow-up development ideas of the South-to-North Water Diversion Group since its establishment. After the talks, Ma Zeping and Sun Zhiyu signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the South-to-North Water Diversion Group on behalf of China State Construction Group.
The relevant responsible persons of the Group Office, the Investment Department, the Market Management Department, the Headquarters of China State Construction (Guangxi), China Construction Foundation, China Construction First Bureau, China Construction Second Bureau and China Construction Eighth Bureau; and the responsible persons of relevant departments of the South-to-North Water Diversion Group attended the talks.
