Zhang Zongxiang of the Xiling Printing Society President Series: A giant of traditional Chinese studies, a master of books, and a selection of selected paintings of literary and historical generalist calligraphy works

Zhang Zongxiang (1882-1965), known as Si Zeng, later Muwen Tianxiang as a person, changed his name to ZongXiang, the character Langsheng, the number of cold monks, the owner of the Tie Ruyi Pavilion, Haining, Zhejiang, a famous scholar and calligrapher in China. Before liberation, he successively served as a teacher of Zhejiang Higher School, a teacher of the Two Zhejiang Normal Schools, a director of the Beijing Dali Academy, a teacher of Tsinghua Xuetang, a director of the Beijing Normal Library, and a director of the Zhejiang Education Department.

Mr. Zhang Zongxiang is a well-known calligrapher in modern times, especially known for his grass, and is known as a master of the book world and praised by people at home and abroad. His calligraphy is Li Beihai, and he also integrates the Han and Wei stele methods, which is majestic and free, refreshing and energetic, and elegant in temperament. Painting is good at landscape, ingenious composition, elegant coloring, delicate painting style, good at leaving blank, simple to win the complex, the picture is ethereal, lofty and profound, giving the viewer unlimited space for reverie.
