Zhang Zongxiang (1882-1965)
His original name was Si Zeng, the character Lang Sheng, the number of cold monks. Haining, Zhejiang. Famous calligrapher, versionist, also good at painting, good at ancient book collation. He once served as the director of Zhejiang Library, the deputy director of Zhejiang Museum of Culture and History, the vice chairman of the Zhejiang Branch of the China Artists Association, a deputy to the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, and a member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. In his youth, he had a golden stone friendship with Jing Hengyi, and in 1908, he first participated in the autumn collection of the Xiling Printing Society, befriending Wu Changshuo and other famous artists. And there are "Zhang Zongxiang Tibetan Seal Selection" and "Zhang Zongxiang Seal Selection" in the world.
In the autumn of 1956, a meeting of people's deputies was held in Zhejiang Province, and Zhang Zongxiang attended as a specially invited representative and submitted a proposal to "restore the Xiling Printing Society". In 1957, the Preparatory Committee of Xiling Printing Society was established to carry out the restoration of Xiling Printing Society, with Zhang Zongxiang as the director. In December 1962, the first post-founding congress was held in Hangzhou. In 1963, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the society was held, and Zhang Zongxiang was elected as the third president, with the merits of Xiling Printing Society.
