Cao Hongxun (1846–1910), also spelled Zhongming, Zhuming, Lansheng, and Ming, yijianzhai, was a native of Weixian County, Laizhou, Shandong (present-day Weicheng District, Weifang). In 1876, he became the 102nd champion of the Qing Dynasty, and also became the first champion of Weixian County since the imperial examination, and after the middle grade, he was appointed to the Hanlin Academy to revise and take charge of the revision of the history of the country.

Cao Hongxun is famous for his calligraphy, and many ink stone carvings have been left in the Forbidden City, summer palace and Weifang in Beijing.
