Teachers and students on both sides of the strait "in the clouds" enjoyed the "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" and hoped to travel the Fuchun River together after the epidemic

China News Service Beijing, November 10, "The topic and intention of the course are fantastic! Starting from studying a painting together, it naturally brought the distance and feelings of students on both sides of the strait closer. Using painting as a medium, students on both sides of the strait have many topics, and their feelings are also subtly enhanced in the process of learning. On the afternoon of the 10th, after the "Fuchun Mountain Jutu" art appreciation class jointly carried out by teachers and students of Beijing Jingyuan School and Taipei Private Meditation School, Ma Mingyue, a teacher at Jingyuan School, shared her teaching experience.

This special course across the strait was held in the form of a video link. This year coincided with the 10th anniversary of the exhibition of "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, and the students of the two schools exchanged and exchanged ideas under the leadership of teachers, and jointly appreciated the artistic characteristics and historical value of the painting from four perspectives: river story, cultural implications, author's experience and background of the painting.

In class, the students of Jingxin School told the legendary story of "Fuchun Mountain Jutu" and the techniques used in the painting. They said that the painting was made by the Yuan Dynasty painter Huang Gongwang in 1350, and unfortunately it was burned twice. After several changes of times, the first half of the "Leftover Mountain Map" is now in the Zhejiang Provincial Museum, and the second half of the "Useless Division Volume" is stored in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. It was not until 2011 that the two volumes were exhibited in Taipei that the world was able to see the complete painting. At that time, more than 360 years had passed since the last time the two paintings were put together.

Jingyuan School students present the historical stories and allusions behind the paintings in the form of comic creation and poetry tasting, showing the beauty of their artistic conception. When the Song dynasty poet Su Shi traveled to the Fuchun River, he once wrote such words: crossing the Shaxi Urgent, Frost Creek Cold, and Yuexi Ming. In this regard, the students interpreted: "He uses the 'montage' technique here, connecting the Fuchun River at three different times, not only writing the itinerary of the boat, but also creating a cold and beautiful mood, which leads to his own state of mind." ”

In the "Supplementary Painting and Creation" session, students on both sides of the strait expanded their imagination and supplemented the connection between the two volumes of "Fuchun Mountain Residence Map" in the form of line drawing sketches. Blank space, three far method, wrinkle law... According to the layout technique of landscape painting, the students applied what they learned and created dozens of wonderful paintings.

After class, Chen Haoran, a first-year high school student at Jingyuan School, summed up his feelings with the words "novelty, cordiality and harvest" in an interview with a reporter from China News Agency, and also appreciated the taiwanese students' sense of identity with Chinese culture. Previously, he was more familiar with the historical background of "Fuchun Mountain Jutu", but he did not know much about its artistic value and painting skills, and "the narration of the students of the Meditation School made up for this part of the gap.".

"They are well prepared, and some students may not know much about ink painting before, but because of this topic, they have the opportunity to do research and gain a lot in the process." Ma Mingyue also spoke highly of the classroom performance of the students of jingxin school, and in her view, through the understanding and study of traditional culture, the cultural genes hidden deep in the hearts of students on both sides of the strait and passed down in the same vein have been embodied.

Zhao Jiayi, a senior at Jingyuan School, shared in class what she had heard and felt when she went to Fuchun River this summer to sketch. This experience aroused the envy of Taiwanese classmates at the end of the video, who said that it was a pity that there was no such opportunity."

In this regard, the teachers of Jingyuan School responded that they very much hope that when the new crown epidemic subsides, everyone will go to the Fuchun River to visit the rivers and mountains, chant poems and paint, which will be a very beautiful life experience.

Zhao Jiayi told reporters that she also wanted to go to Fuchun River with her Taiwanese classmates to sketch, feel the changes in time and space, feel the common primitive memories of the two sides of the strait in Huang Gongwang's pen, I want to know if the Fuchun River in their eyes is the same as what I thought in my heart, and whether the world in their eyes is the same as the mainland. I think there should be a lot in common, at least more in common than in difference. (Author Zhu He)
