Nowadays, walking along the river is a beautiful scenery, but this mother river has also been overshadowed by the disorderly development of the paper industry.
"Putting aside the identity of the owner of the paper mill, I am a native of Fuyang, so I will support what is good for Fuyang." Jin Faquan was originally a local papermaking business owner and a supporter of the industry's retreat.
In 1999, Jin Faquan entered the paper industry, which was the "highlight moment" of Fuyang Paper Industry. At its peak, Fuyang's whiteboard paper market share accounted for more than one-third of the country, and its output value accounted for more than 20% of the total industrial output value, becoming an important part of the "Fuyang phenomenon" of the private economy.
Papermaking "rich" the economy at the same time "poor" ecology, bringing serious wastewater, waste gas, waste residue problems. The south bank of the Fuchun River, which was once heavily polluted, freed up about 20,000 mu of space, and the newly built Fuchun Bay New City became the main front for the development of local high-tech industries.

When the Fuchun River was polluted, many villagers in Fuyang had to go out to earn a living. When the Yijiang Fuchun water was revived due to industrial transformation, the local people won the "Golden Mountain and Silver Mountain". Many Fuyang people who had "gone out to make a living" returned to their hometowns and ate "ecological rice" at their doorstep.
"Being in a picturesque hometown, accompanying your parents, and running the 'red fire' at the doorstep of your home is happiness." At present, it is close to the end of the year, although the outdoor temperature has plummeted, but Zhu Yongjie's home is full of warmth. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from home to the river, and it is precisely because of the unique river view resources that he opened the homestay at home.
Zhu Yongjie is a villager in Dongziguan Village on the banks of the Fuchun River. Dongziguan is Yu Dafu's "idyllic, leisurely, safe and self-sufficient riverside town", which became popular in 2017 because of the most beautiful relocation house.
"Our village was like many rural areas in China before, because there was no industry gradually hollowed out, leaving many hundreds of years old houses. Although there is no major pollution nearby, villagers will also go to the river to wash their clothes, and poultry manure will also flow turbulently. Zhu Yongjie recalled that due to the poor living environment in the village, the family also moved to the urban area to live, and rarely returned to their hometown outside the New Year's Festival.
With the environmental improvement of the Fuchun River and the synchronous promotion of the "Hangzhou Pai Residential" demonstration, Dongziguan has been completely transformed in recent years. The picturesque landscape attracts many villagers like Zhu Yongjie who have abandoned their old houses to go out to seek a livelihood and gradually "return".
"Nowadays, there are more than a dozen homestays in the area of the New Hangzhou Sect of Residences alone, and even foreign tourists say that they can't imagine that the Chinese countryside will be such a scene." Zhu Yongjie said.
With a river with a city, eight mountains and half a water and half a field, the "green guardian" of the Fuchun River has polished the beautiful rural background of Fuyang, and the rural construction has also blossomed.
