The Taiping army soon left Guangxi, entered Hunan, and descended the Yangtze River, attacking the city and pulling down the village, crossing the pass and sweeping through Jiangnan with the momentum of pulling dry and destroying, and directly guiding China's largest city: Jiangning (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province).
On March 19, 1853 (the third year of Qing Xianfeng), the Taiping Army finally conquered this important town in Jiangnan after more than ten days of fierce fighting, renamed it "Tianjing" as the capital, and formally established a state power here that competed with the court.

Although the regulations are slightly lower than those of the Heavenly King's Palace, they are still a few miles in circumference; the courtyard walls are very high and covered with broken magnetic edges, fixed with gray oil to prevent assassins; the gates are framed with yellow satin paste, with cooked copper animal rings, and single dragons and single phoenixes are painted; red and yellow silk lines are tied into colored fences; there is an official hall in the east and west, the "Chengxuan Hall" in the east, the "Counselor Hall" in the west, and the Shang Shu Registration Office of the East Hall.
Located next to the popular attraction "Confucius Temple" in Nanjing, the Zhan Garden, known as the "First Garden of Jinling", was once part of the residence of Xu Da, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, and was the official office of the Jiangnan envoys in the Qing Dynasty, and one of the Eastern Wangfu during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. At present, there is a Taiping Heavenly Kingdom History Museum in the park, which is the only Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Museum in China.
Wei Changhui's Northern Wangfu was located in the residence of Wu Changhua, the former Governor of Hubei Province, Zhongzheng Street. Even the Southern and Western Kings, who failed to see the "victory of the revolution" and "sacrificed in the Middle Way," their families also stayed in the various royal palaces built by the Heavenly Government in the small paradise.

Adjacent to the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Zhongwang Mansion is the most complete building preserved during the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom period, and it is also the most complete surviving peasant rebel army palace in Chinese history, which was announced by the State Council as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 1961, and is now located in Suzhou Museum.
