Sunshine News (Wu Youlun reporter Xiang Bo) On April 19, the inaugural meeting of the Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association was held at the Ankang Hotel. Qu Xiaopeng, member of the party leading group and deputy director of the Department of Veterans' Affairs of Shaanxi Province; Zhang Weiwei, vice mayor of the Ankang Municipal Government; Wang Junxian, commander of the Ankang Military Sub-district; and other provincial and municipal leaders; specially appointed experts of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Provincial Department of Veterans' Affairs; relevant responsible persons of the Baoji, Hanzhong, and Shangluo Veterans' Affairs Bureaus, an Ankang City Charity Association, and the County and District Veterans' Affairs Bureaus attended the inaugural meeting.
The main task of the Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association is to assist government departments to do a good job in the ideological and political and accurate service work of veterans, build a bridge between the government and society, the army and the locality, and between veterans and employing units, organize retired soldiers to study and publicize the laws and regulations and policies of the party and the state on veterans, guide the majority of veterans not to forget their original intentions, listen to the party, follow the party, and always maintain the political nature of military personnel; assist the competent departments to carry out career promotion, employment training and entrepreneurial guidance for retired soldiers. Establish a veterans entrepreneurship fund, develop corporate members, do a good job in promoting corporate membership products and e-commerce services; carry out special hardship veterans and survivors to help the weak and the disabled; assist government departments to carry out the most beautiful veterans' learning and publicity activities; carry out cultural publicity activities such as veterans' culture, sports, literature and painting; and carry out social organization exchanges and research activities for veterans.
During the period, the first general meeting of the Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association was held, the "Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association Charter" and the "Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association Membership and Membership Fee Management Measures" were adopted, the first council, the standing council and their presidents, vice presidents and supervisors were elected, and Fan Xiansheng was elected as the president of the Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association.
Zhang Wei and Wang Junxian awarded (unveiled) plaques to the "Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association", Qu Xiaopeng issued an honorary letter of appointment to the former Ankang Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, commander of the military sub-district, and Zhou Fameng, a military singer, Cui Guanghua, president of the Ankang Charity Association, delivered a speech to the conference, and the Municipal Veterans Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Employment and Entrepreneurship of Veterans" with the Jingdong platform.
At the meeting, letters of appointment were also issued to special experts, entrepreneurial mentors, publicity consultants and legal advisers of provincial and municipal expert think tanks.
The establishment of the Ankang Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Association marks that under the unified leadership of the Party Committee, the "troika" of administrative institutions, service systems, social forces, and the organizational management system of serving veterans in the same direction have basically taken shape.
The meeting was presided over by Chen Yuan'an, director of the Ankang Veterans Affairs Bureau. Nearly 400 people attended the inaugural meeting, including the main responsible persons of the County and District Veterans Affairs Bureau of Ankang City, the director of the Veterans Service Center, the director of the county, town, village (community) service station, the representatives of member units, and all members of the association.
