Wangcang County's "three measures" promote the compilation of township, village (community) and departmental chronicles

First, conscientiously study deployment. On October 25, in the name of the county party committee and the county government office, the "Notice on Conscientiously Doing a Good Job in compiling township history, village (community) history and departmental history" (Wang Committee Office [2021] No. 7) was issued, and the compilation task was implemented in a timely manner.

The second is to clarify the task of codification. The compilation of township history, village (community) history and departmental history in the county will start from September 2021, and the compilation work plan will be formulated, and the compilation plan will be implemented step by step in accordance with the "321" compilation plan of "township history is divided into three batches, village (community) history is divided into two batches, and departmental history is divided into one batch". That is, a total of 23 township chronicles will be compiled and published by the end of 2028, including 5 in 2023, 13 in 2026, and 5 in 2028; encourage qualified villages (communities) to compile village (community) chronicles, in principle, at least 1 village (community) chronicle in each township, and at least 25 village (community) chronicles will be compiled and published by the end of 2026, of which 7 in 2023 and 18 in 2026, and 83 will be compiled and published at the end of 2026.

The third is to strengthen the implementation of measures. Earnestly strengthen professional guidance, and the party history research office of the county party committee (the county local history compilation center) will select cadres with exquisite professional skills and strong abilities to form three professional guidance groups, which are respectively responsible for the organization, coordination, and operational guidance of the compilation of township and town history, village (community) history, and departmental history. Strictly implement the "three reviews" system, after the completion of the first draft of township and town chronicles and village (community) chronicles, the editorial committees of each township and village (community) chronicle shall be responsible for the preliminary review and review by the township and town people's governments, and the party history research office of the county party committee (county local history compilation center) shall conduct the final review; after the completion of the first draft of the departmental chronicle, the editorial committee of each department will be responsible for the preliminary review and departmental review, and the party history research office of the county party committee (the county local history compilation center) shall conduct the final review. Increase the intensity of supervision and supervision, the county party committee and county government will include the compilation of township history, village (community) history and departmental history into the important content of the performance appraisal of the annual historical work targets of townships and departments, and regularly track and supervise the progress of the compilation work to ensure that the compilation work tasks are completed on schedule and with high quality.
