On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the Communist Party of China, Yanhuang Art Museum, together with the Central Academy of Fine Arts, held the "Imprint of the Times - Professor Feng Zhen and Professor Li Qi Painting Exhibition" in Beijing.
Li Qi and Feng Zhen joined the revolutionary ranks from an early age and were artists who grew up under the cultivation and education of the Communist Party of China. From the flames of war in the revolutionary years to the peaceful development in the construction period, they have always adhered to the direction of literature and art serving the people, consciously drawn nourishment from excellent Chinese and foreign art, continuously improved their artistic literacy, enriched their artistic techniques, and made their artistic trees flourish day by day and with unique characteristics.

The exhibition exhibits more than 300 paintings by Feng Zhen and Li Qi. Some of the works were recently collected and selected with the assistance of Professor Feng Zhen and his family and friends, and sorted and restored by yanhuang art museum. The works on display cover many categories and paintings such as New Year paintings, propaganda paintings, comic strips, oil paintings, ink paintings, watercolors, gouache paintings, sketches, sketches, etc., as well as a number of original manuscripts. Many of the works are first-time appearances.

The artistic creation of Feng Zhen and Li Qi has a long span of time and has a distinct mark of the times. This exhibition can not only roughly reflect the artistic life of Feng Zhen and Li Qi, but also reflect the development process of China over the past hundred years from the side, which has important artistic value and historical significance.
