Feng Bao,Zi Yongting,Trumpet Shuanglin,a native of ShenXian County, Hebei, a Ming Dynasty eunuch, a generation of eunuchs, and an ally of Zhang Juzheng. Jiajing was then the eunuch of Bingbi, the eunuch of Si Li, and in the first year of Longqing (1567), he was the governor of Dongchang and the imperial horse supervisor. In the sixth year of the Wanli Calendar (1578), Feng Bao inscribed on the "Map of the Upper River of the Qingming Dynasty", and the self-signed official was called "the governor of Qincha, the official school of the East Factory and the eunuch in charge of the imperial ceremony", and was also the general internal and external, and the power was tilted for a while.
Feng Bao has a high cultural attainment. He engraved many books on his tenure as superintendent of ceremonies, such as the "Collection of Enlightenment", "Four Books", "Book of Books", "Tongjian Zhixi", "Di Jian Tu Shu", "Jingshu Yinshi", etc., which were still circulated in the palace until the Chongzhen period. Since Emperor Shenzong ascended the throne, Feng Bao had also climbed to the peak of his life's power. He was ordained as a minister of honor and was regarded as an "internal minister" by Emperor Shenzong. As a powerful eunuch, he took the initiative to join hands with Zhang Juzheng and changed the pattern of incessant vicious fighting, internal and external discord, and waste of national strength; he made Zhang Juzheng's government decrees unimpeded; he went all out and pushed forward boldly. The "Examination Method" and "One Whip Law" have achieved remarkable results in creating a new situation in Wanli and also created the richest decade of the Ming Dynasty.

Feng Bao is not an absolute good person, nor an absolute bad person, not even an absolute man.
