David Samuel Peckinpah (1925–1985), an old childlike Western action film director and exponent of violent aesthetic films, was figuratively known as "Poetic Blood" in his film style.
Sam Pejinpa's ancestors were successful Western pioneers, owned large farms, produced parliamentarians and lawyers, and arguably had a superior family environment. Perhaps wild and rebellious in his bones, young Sam is a typical wild child, his grandfather's farm is the perfect place for him to spread wilderness, and fighting is his way of venting his energy.
As a young man, Sam Perkinpa experienced a period of Naval service in World War II and spent a time in Tianjin under alcohol and women's anesthesia.
After World War II, Sam Pegginpa continued his acting studies and eventually went on the artistic path of directing. He was not a prolific director, leaving only 15 works in his lifetime, but almost every one of them was impressive.
Sam Pezinpa's work is given the impression of violence and gore, and he is adept at showing bullet ballet and character death in slow motion, often with scenes of animal cruelty, and of course with contempt and disrespect for women.
Like the director's own "Beat Generation", the characters in the film have no obvious distinction between good and evil, they rely on their own motives, either to survive, or for money, or just for the obsession in their hearts. Perhaps there was a fateful arrangement in the dark, and sam Perkinpa died of alcoholism and drug addiction in his later years.
