On the morning of October 28th, the Theoretical Thinking Workshop of Jilin University invited Professor Wu Zhenwu to give a lecture on the theme of "My Growth and Teaching Experience", and Vice President Cai Lidong attended and issued a letter of appointment to Professor Wu Zhenwu as a tutor for the Theoretical Thinking Workshop. Zhang Xiaomeng, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, presided over the lecture, and the students of the third phase of the theoretical thinking workshop listened to Professor Wu Zhenwu's lecture.
Professor Wu Zhenwu reviewed the outstanding achievements and life beliefs of the famous teachers represented by Mr. Yu Shengwu, Mr. Wang Zao, Mr. Zhang Zhongpei, Mr. Wang Xianghao, Mr. Tang Aoqing, Mr. Zhang Zhengxiu, etc., and shared with the students the gains of their academic research under the influence of the gentlemen, as well as their own feelings in scientific research and teaching. He encouraged everyone to read more of the original materials, seek truth from facts, and always maintain the spirit of doubt in academic research.
During the exchange and discussion session, Professor Jing Zhongwei, Professor He Jingcheng and Professor Bai Gang exchanged and discussed with Professor Wu Zhenwu on the issues of the integrated development of "new liberal arts". After listening to Professor Wu Zhenwu's lecture, the students said that they had carried out an academic time journey, deeply understood the essence of scholarship, and also triggered everyone's thinking and reflection on academic attitude and academic self-confidence.
