Lucifer is a TV series based on the DC Vertigo comic of the same name created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Keith and Mike Dringenberg, and tells the story of the first fallen angel. Tired of being the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis, Merlin) decides to abandon the throne and retire to Los Angeles to open an upscale nightclub called Lux.
Tom Ellis
While lucifer, handsome and charming, enjoys his comfortable retirement — wine, beauty and music — a young and beautiful pop singer is brutally murdered outside Lux. For the first time in ten billion years, a strange feeling welled up in his heart. Is it mercy? Is it sympathy? This feeling deeply troubled him and deeply disturbed his close friend, Madkin (Leslie-Ann Bled, The Librarian).

The murder also caught the attention of Detective Chloe Deser (Lauren Germain, Blaze chicago) in the Los Angeles Police Department's Homicide Unit. She, who had no objection to Lucifer, was attracted by his ability to lure others into telling the secrets of their hearts, and his desire to seek justice and punish evil and adultery. They begin to work together to track down the singer's true cause of death, and Chloe's kindness shocks Lucifer. Lucifer, accustomed to the darkest side of human nature, is attracted by Chloe's purity and begins to wonder if his soul can also be redeemed.

Meanwhile, God's messenger, the angel Amanadir (D.B Woodside, The Lawsuit, 24 Hours) is sent to Los Angeles to persuade Lucifer to return to Hell... Will this devil incarnation forsake evil for good, or will he eventually be pulled back to evil by his nature?
