Shang Guangfei, 41, has been working in the public security system for 13 years. Over the past 13 years, he has been working silently on the frontline of the grassroots level and guarding the tranquility of the party from a large team of the traffic police detachment of the Chuzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau to the Daliu police station of the Nanchen substation and then to the Wuyi police station of the Nancheng substation.

Venture out of a piping hot gas canister
"Since I was a child, I have a special admiration for soldiers and policemen, and although I majored in Chinese language and literature at university, this did not change my determination to become a policeman." Shang Guangfei said in an interview with Xin'an Evening News, Anhui Net, and Dawan Client Reporter that in 2007, he entered a large team of traffic police detachments of the Chuzhou City Public Security Bureau and officially became a people's policeman. In 2012, he was transferred to the Daliu Police Station of the Nanchen Branch of the Chuzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau, and there was one thing that he still remembers.
Shang Guangfei said that it was one day in August 2014, when a 15-year-old girl in Daliu Town, Nancheng District, was cooking at home when the gas canister pipe leaked, accidentally causing a raging fire. After receiving the alarm, Shang Guangfei, who was then an instructor at the Daliu police station, quickly rushed to the scene with the police, "At that time, the air was filled with a choking smell, and we immediately evacuated the nearby villagers, and at the same time cut off the power supply and started the fire extinguishing work." Shang Guangfei said that at that time, he found that there was a gas tank in the house, and the tank was hot, considering the danger of explosion, he quickly closed the gas source, rushed out of the house with the hot can, and put it into the courtyard pool to cool. In that year, Shang Guangfei was awarded the fourth Chuzhou City Moral Model, and his behavior of disregarding danger and decisively handling it also received unanimous praise.
Break through the bottleneck of public security management at the junction
Since the wuyi police station is located at the junction of the two provinces of Anhui and the Soviet Union, in order to break through the bottleneck of public security management, the Wuyi police station and the Yongning police station of the Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau jointly explored and practiced the "four-linked" work method of joint logistics, joint defense, joint investigation and joint attack in the border area, and established an integrated information communication and sharing platform. Shang Guangfei said that the two places have adhered to joint coordination and carried out joint operations on cross-regional illegal and criminal activities, from the aspects of case leads, rapid response in different places, arrest of suspects, and evidence collection, so as to greatly enhance the effectiveness of cracking down on existing illegal crimes.
The reporter learned that since 2018, under the leadership of Shang Guangfei, the Wuyi police station has cracked 69 criminal cases, investigated and handled 293 public security cases, and resolved more than 4,200 contradictions and disputes.
Take the initiative to fight in epidemic prevention and flood control
The reporter learned that in the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020, Shang Guangfei took the lead and led 12 police forces to check and control suspicious vehicles and suspicious personnel at the card point at the Junction Card Point of Suzhou-Anhui And the Chuzhou South Toll Station. He also organized 16 police forces to take the initiative to participate in the "closed" management duty of the whole town, and united community cadres to carry out the investigation and registration of entry and exit personnel in various communities to resolve contradictions and disputes.
In July 2020, due to the continuous heavy rainfall, the water level of the Qingliu River and the Chu River soared, and the local flood prevention situation was grim, and the Wuyi Police Station took the initiative to ask the Wuyi Town Party Committee to work in Shuanglianwei, where the flood prevention task was the heaviest. Shang Guangfei recalled to reporters that at that time, all the people's police and auxiliary police of the Wuyi police station were on duty 24 hours a day, and four flood prevention and rescue commando teams were set up to rush to the Qingliu River, the Wugang section of the ChuHe River, and the Datong Wei section to carry out river embankment inspections, embankment clearance, dangerous section duty, transfer of the masses, patrol prevention and control, and other work, and use practical actions to fully guarantee the safety of the people's lives and property.
